  • @1983sav1 no no no no .......its not a good rose......he is not really loking at a rose.....there is no form to a rose....a rose is a combination of shadows....observe a real rose picture first......see the dark and light tones first...the different shapes and forms of each petal aand the work of light on the subject matter...better to start a rose paint from the outside and not the inside.......skill in observation and the rest is just simple brush strokes.....no two roses are alike.....

    Hi well the only tip I have is to Practice! I did a ton just a few months before the ones I have on youtube! I did them until I got comfortable enough and then I changed a few things that was comfortable and easy for me. I also found that using the angle brush is so much easier than using a straight edge brush! Good Luck! =) Let me know how you do!
