Hey guys, if you have a spare minute could you check out some of my covers on my channel and give some feedback. It sucks to have to advertise like this but it seems like the only way to get exposure. Thanks if you do check it out...
This is indeed subjective, and it is as subjective as it is not true. Mimi was a good singer, yes, and the two siters together performed wonderfully and movingly, but Joan is the far more talented singer and Mimi never played the guitar as masterly as Joan does up until now!
It's somewhat subjective to say, but most who heard her would agree that Joan Baez' younger sister, the late Mimi Farina (formerly Mimi Baez), was a much more talented singer and one of the best guitarists of the folk genre, but chose early on to devote her talent to the Marin County non-profit she founded, Bread & Roses, which brought her music and the talents of others to prisons, sanitariums, convalescent hospitals, hospices, and charity fundraisers. Mimi made a difference.
This a beautiful song but poor poor quality. But at least we have this!

They were a cute couple. Its interesting to hear them talk about it later.
As it goes, this song and was one of the first I learned, riding in the back seat of my Dad's car signing along.
