actually the big gold originally came from the NWA & Jim Crockett Promotions from the Reno NV belt buckle maker. The WCW ended up with it when they broke off from NWA.

Its what finishes and authenticates a work of art. I would never buy a Picasso that wasnt signed. How do I know its a Picasso? Cant just by looking at it. Art students can replicate a Picasso and you wouldnt be able to the tell the difference. Forgeries are a huge deal in the art world.

Flair's Original NWA/WCW Big gold is NOTHING like Jmar's re-creation of it..

The original big gold is practically one of a kind, and is much more prestigous than WWE's version of it.

NWA / WCW original big gold was SOLID silver, with 22ct HEAVY GOLD electro plating.

NWA's Floral designs were a bit different than wwe's model, Rope border is MUCH different. Mainplate was MUCH bigger/wider than wwe's re-designed one.

Crown was a bit smaller on the NWA/WCW big gold, and globe had double etching on the LAND of the globe.

Actually your eyesight is a joke. When u get a pair of glasses you'll see that the two belts are very different in size, artwork,& strap cut.

I've gotten different offers on these, the WWE's highest went to $600,WCW's highest went to $15,000 (not a typo.)

just use caution. carefully apply pressure on your knee/thigh with your hands. little by little on the left middle & right sections.

check you progress as you do it too so you can get a good curve.  note: strap may be a little harder to get back on since the fit will be tighter with the curved plate.

dude theres NO REASON to be afraid to curve it. you take the plates off, apply pressure with your knee and hands carefully and you put the plates back on, that simple.

and if you dont like the curve, you do same procedure on the other side of it to flatten it again. no big deal.

if you're curving a standard belt. just apply pressure over your knee & thigh and put pressure with your hands to curve it, put pressure but carefully at the same time.

on the center part, then on the left and right parts. keep checking it as you progress.

the ultra plates i hear you need some type of press to do the curving. unfortunately.

idunno why figures inc can't just put the correct curve into it in the first place.
