What sucks is if you look up Ke's backstory Jin Ke is a good guy, basically just like Duncan and Connor, but when St. Cloud and Horton are hunting down immortals Jin Ke is targeted, Kell and his band of merry Immortals step in and save Jin Ke who swears his life to Kell until the final battle out of honor for saving him and not taking his head when he was down (After being taken down with multiple sub machine guns)
@steelio2006 Due to a hardware failure in May 2010, the new edit mentioned in this video's info was entirely lost. Since then, I've not had the money to get a new computer that is good enough for such editing (this one barely runs Movie Maker)... of course, I do still have the old 2006 edit laying around somewhere on DVD (i.e. the edit where this scene is actually from)... I suppose I could always rip that to an avi and upload it via torrent (again)... that is, if the demand were high enough.
So he was an immortal cult leader whose follower immortals let their quickening go to him freely to make him stronger, right? Like a mass suicide for Kell to bulk up on energy. Thats why Conner needed to bump up Duncans mojo? Was that the script? Why complicate this with cults, aliens, magic and other crap when the original established that its JUST men who cannot die fighting until 1 is left, THATS ALL. No aliens, mystic powers, sorcerers, cults, secret societies and other BS. SIMPLIFY!!!!!!!!!
@krashly71 The truth is in a scene after Duncan kills Connor he impales Cracker Bob (With Connor's sword) to the hood of a van and has it drive into Kell's hide out. After these Kell realizes Connor is dead and Duncan has become much stronger and is coming for him now. So he basically kills the others to Level Up as you would btw by the time he is killed Jacob Kell has 666 immortal kills, or at least quickenings.
@ThatAverageMike Okay, I'm not too sure where your discussion started from, but I've just seen that scene you're talking about and it confuses me. Wasn't Cracker Bob with the others when Kell killed them?? So how come MacLeod is taking his body to kell's?? I don't even remember seeing that scene when I saw the movie on T.V. in 2007, I think.

That was very well done. Now in your DVD, were you able to improve the video from the workprint and rough cuts? Those versions look drastically worse than the finished Producers Cut DVD.
The main antagonist should have been Jin Ke, not Jacob Kell.
