The majority of my family (approximately 30 members) live in Baghdad, and from my perspective they have nothing to be thankful for. However, I can assure you that they have more happiness in their lives than I do. Poverty does not equal a miserable life as the materialistic people of the West conclude. Happiness is found in much greater things, such as family, friends, and, for my family especially, God.
