  • @Tedaus5 Yeah, sneak in the back entrance when no one is looking.

  • kd lang's let himself go.

  • Oh, Ray Liotta's let himself go

  • lol. i love lee. he's a seasoned maestro. lol.

  • Is this Terry Christian's twin brother??

  • @sirtinycreep Yeah, but recently he's let himself go.

  • just finished watching the full set of this ...... simply incredible ...

  • oh no. a youtube addict is calling me a twat. how will i ever survive!

what if i did fucking kill myself? i could have serious self esteem issues. who's the cunt now?

  • I'll be hones, I've heard better comebacks

  • christmas is in december, you twat

  • rofl oh yeah sorry xD

  • owned.

  • gotta give ya credit for not deleting the comment

  • isn't christmas in december?

    always used to be.

  • twat

  • Up until the late 80's and early 90's christmas was in November. But multinational corporations rallied for the change in this saying December made more sense because it was closer to the begining of a new year would account for the yearly system being based on the birth of Jesus. The 6 day difference is due to the coriolis effect.

  • hahaha cracker .

  • @playerthe2nd None of that is true.

  • @hudz595 is it not? really??? wow, i guess he must have been joking then

  • @frusciante39 Shit in your hand.

  • @hudz595 lol

  • Stewart Lee can take credit for, as well as being a very fine writer and performer, being the person who stimulates all the most inane comments from total arseholes on YouTube.

Ha, ha,,,,I laughed 'til I cried!

  • What an inane comment. Arsehole.

    etc

  • I love how Lee can feed off the tension in a room like no one else, unlike your average 'edgy' un-PC comic his irony is sincere, self-mocking and bloody funny. I think his 'Scotch' routine on his DVD proves this. He 'proves' Braveheart was a slobbering gay paedophile to a Glasgow crowd and gets away with it! He pushes the crowd in the most controlled way being ridiculously over the top yet totally straight-faced creating just enough doubt and tension to pull off massive reactions

  • @JapeUK thats not this show but i agree with you

  • Comment removed

  • why are almost all steawrt kee vids accompanied by political rantings...cant you just laugh or not laugh....and not feel superia for having laghed or not laughed...and certainly not try and drag politics around with u...why not trynot having a political opinion, or at l;east not expressing it willy nilly

  • Of course you're right! Why on earth should anyone feel obliged to actually laugh while in the audience at a comedy gig? Some people were born mirthless, dead-eyed zombies, but who's to say that should preclude them from a 'comedy gig'. They should have the right to stare ahead, perhaps with some drool rolling down their clip-on ties, with vacant expressions on their gormless faces, until death's merciful kiss.

  • Yes but if you're going to a comedy gig you should be ready for a laugh, the notion of laughter should be taken on board and then applied in my opinion.

    Thanks.

  • you should go into stand up comedy and show us how it's done.

  • If I try not having a political opinion for long enough will I lose the ability to spell, like you?

  • @milocreese ah, the irony in your comment. It's not hard to feel SUPERIOR when reading your post.

  • @chalkus Why is it that you're on every Stewart Lee video being a cunt?

  • @spackstic I'm on a few stewart lee videos arguing with cunts and in some circumstances that has required me to become a cunt to point out their cuntness.

why do you think your comment is not cunty?

  • @spackstic Just one more thing, why are you so cunting obsessed with using the word cunt, just looking at your recent posts you have used it a number of times.... do you hav problems expressing yourself?

  • @chalkus No I don't. It's a commonly used word often used to describe people like yourself.

  • @spackstic Unfortunately for you, it is easy for one to observe, simply by clicking on your name, how many times you use the word. Do you suffer from short/medium term memory loss?

Besides, your answer is deeply cliched and not becoming of somebody who thinks so highly of themselves!

  • @chalkus I never denied the frequency with which I use the word. I could just as well have called you a twat. Makes no difference to me. Unlike yourself, I don't feel the need to hide what I have commented on. Your Youtube persona is obviously an important part of your identity and daily life. Mine isn't.

  • @spackstic Cliched again, you're very childlike in your responses. As you can see when clicking on my name, I haven't posted (before you pulled me into this pathetic tirade of cock comparing) for months. Now, looking at your posts, one might call you a hypocrite, you post daily, on many videos and one does suspect that your only friends reside in the digital ether.

You did imply that you were 'holier than thou', which is a real shame as you are easy pickings.

  • @chalkus No, actually I can't see what you've posted because you've conveniently hidden that information.

  • @spackstic Or, you don't know how!! ah

  • @chalkus As I said, I'm not bothered whether people can see what I've commented on.

  • @spackstic That makes not a jot of sense in the context of the conversation

  • Ah the usual 'It's political correctness gone mad' comments you always see from tabloid reading, spoon fed morons. I'm just waiting for the 'white men are the most oppressed people in Britain today'. Laughable.

  • Can none of you appreciate that this was completely off the cuff? Obviosly some people didn't one of his jokes. It's funny and he didn't even offend anyone.

  • It's not off the cuff. He did the same thing at the Sage Gateshead when I saw him.

Still a very funny man though.

  • I think your comment might have been unfairly dissapproved of as I'm assuming you were being ironic in calling someone who complains about Poitical Correctness a 'Fag' Which is a term that political correctness would outlaw. I would have expected most people who are Stuart Lee fans to have noticed that. Shame

  • Yes, I didn't think it needed a big arrow labelled "IRONY" to hover over it, but obviously it did. Perhaps the admins can rig up a javascript utility to do just that.

    Team F do Youtube....

  • If you have listened to what he has said about it you've misunderstood him and the actual concept of political correctness and what you consider political correctness is in fact christian pseudo-righteous indignation for others. While what Lee describes is where you wonder whether it is racially insulting or not and therfore best left unsaid. Racism and bigotry are far more dangerous than avoiding expressing such ideas, which is the true nature if actual political correctness

  • I make plenty of sense obviously not to you though which is not really something that worries me. Lee says that 85% of that audience are idiots not because they are inferior which they may well be but that 85% and you included are mistaking political corectness for something entirely different. And christianity has everything to do with this seeing as the moral sphere in which we live is a judaeo_christian one and which imposes certain moral implications to situations.

  • Obviously we have two conceptions of political degree which are separated to some degree and I'm not going to patronise you and say let's agree to disagree I'll just leave it at that. On my comment on inferiority, it is an invnetion to consider all people equal becuase claiming that some people are inferior is just a reflection on society and in no way refers to anything bigotted it merely states that some people have more power than others and therfore in one dimension at least superior.

  • I love the fact that Stew's sets can contain a really small number of jokes but they're so intricate and well-observed that he's far better than a lot of the more famous comedians out there

  • legend

  • he's not dull - he's talking like that on purpose!

  • Just seen the full version. It is the best 70 minutes of stand up I've ever seen and simply cements Stew as my favourite Stand-up comic. The man's timing is split second perfect, always.

  • I saw him do this show at Edinburgh in 2005. It was the best 60 minutes of stand-up I've ever seen. His slow build up delivery may not be to everyone's taste, but then some people like their comedy fast, simple and safe. His tale about meeting Jesus on a country lane is a genuine classic, and one that we can safely say will never be broadcast on terrestrial television in the UK (or probably anywhere).

  • This is Stewart Lee's "90s Comedian" show filmed in Cardiff in 2006. The guy who posted the clip asked Stewart to go to Wales to film it and the result has been released for sale on the internet. The Times Online review gave the DVD 5 stars. The show is Stew's response to the controversy over "Jerry Springer - The Opera". This clip, while funny, does not do justice to the show which as a whole is thoughtful, thought-provoking and a bit rude.

  • Doesn't ANYONE have the "Robert the Bruce and the Spider" sketch to post :-(

  • I think that might have only been on the FoF radio show... or on a bit of TMWRNJ which I've not seen yet.

  • Hmm? It was definitely on the TV. Long time ago now. Probably a late night stand up thing. Mid 90s I reckon?
