holy jeezuz this is a powerful song! this song carries such intense emotion with it and you can tell there must have been somthing going on in his life for him to write such a deeply porfound song. you can really tell that this song comes straight from the soul and thats probably one of the reasons he doesnt do this song very often is because there is alot of pain attached to this song and its probably hard for him to sing because of that.

This song is seriously profound. I've never been concerned with a song's message or having a song speak to me. I just listened to music for music's sake. But then I heard this... Tom Petty gives a voice to so many people and it's because he has this amazing talent for writing from so many perspectives. And he always makes it feel real.
