  • There's no such thing as a 965. That's a 964...

  • @C1TeamMidNight 965 is the internal code of the 964 Turbo.

  • @Angel27071991 Actually no. 964 Turbo is the internal code for 964 Turbo. Is there a 931 Turbo? A 994 Turbo?

Do we just add one to the regular code to signify it as a turbo?

I wish people would get it right. It's akin to (In Porsche-o-phile speech) a regular person pointing to a car and saying "Hey nice boat!"

    "...What?"

"Well it's just missing the wheels and on a different type of substance. So, whatever, it's all the same."

  • @C1TeamMidNight You should read a little about Porsche. As 951 is the internal code for 944 Turbo, 965 is for 964 Turbo. I'm talking about 964 series only. The rest of 911 haven't a special code for Turbo.

  • @Angel27071991 Funny, because the VIN Plate on my 964 Turbo does not say 965 anywhere - In fact it specifically says 964.

I didn't think I'd have to come this far, but oh well. Look it up. Nowhere on my car does it say 965, and in no way is it a 965. It is a 964.
