@KatyMonk I got in the water with her the first 3 or 4 times. I would sit in the tub and bring her toys in the water and play with her. I guess this helped her get comfortable 'cause she just started jumping in all by herself one day. Lol

is it weird for your great dane to hate water? we used to live in a cold area and we had to give him a cold bath with the hose outside and now we live in hawaii and he still hates baths every time we try to bath him he runs away even though the water here comes out hot from the hose

@Geckokid1234 Great Danes naturally have floppy ears, but some people chose to chop off part of their ears and tape them up until they stand erect.

@Geckokid1234 The pointy ears are because the owners crop the ears. they cut up the ears and put them in cast and then when the cast come off the ears are pointy. Its a painful process for the dog. Great Danes are born with the cute floppy ears.

@slayerrules114 Pretty sure those are claw caps. Basically they're soft, blunt teeny caps that you can encase over a dog's claws to prevent them from scratching everything up without cutting the dog's nails. Dunno for sure since I'm not the dog's owner but that's what they seem to be. They look a little large to be the dog's natural claws.

I'd guess that her claws are painted from the breeders? If there are similar coloured pups in a litter, when someone chooses which one they want, they will paint the claws a certain colour so that it's easy to identify which is which a month down the line when they come to collect.

@LuxoJRJR They are softpaws. Her nails were SO sharp when she was a puppy. She split open my eye lid by accident... i have a scar there now :D So we bought these plastic-rubbery nail caps to protect her and me! They fall off after a a week or two. -Lindsay

@HubsterLee Go to your closest Oriental store and ask for Turmeric. Rub a fresh part of the Turmeric every night and the Scar will go away in a couple weeks. Had a scar under my eye from a metal pole hitting me in the face. Used Turmeric and the scar went away.
