03 3.8 V6 Mustang w/ dual straight pipes, no mufflers, and 3" tips exhaust sound

I currently have Flowmasters (dual pipes) on my V6.

I'm considering going straight pipe, but the price you paid is insane. The shop near me will straight pipe a car for $30 per exhaust. So $30 for single exhaust and $60 for dual.

@shortexistence I have the same setup on mine and it doesn't sound ricey at all. In person its actually a really deep tone.

What size pipe was used? Been thinking about building a dual exhaust for my winter beater Windstar when I replace the dead Catalytic converters.

Where did you buy your pipes? I'm switching my V6 2003 'stang also to a true dual exhaust system. But I'm going to add mufflers on mine. Yours sounded sick btw.

i had 18in glasspacks on my stang and didnt like it much. moved up to spintechs :)
