Im 17 and been producing dubstep since about January and been listening to dubstep for over 1-2 years and the first artists i heard was Rusko, Caspa, Cragga and others like that and then sinxe then i've started ot enjoy loads of artists. However its only rescently i started to check out post dubstep and the origins of where dubstep began like Burial i now get it and i now realise that post dubstep creates a real emotion and gritty feel to the song as if your out in the empty streets at night
Am thrown back to my first front room... dancing as we are getting ready to go out. her poor neighbours must of hated us but we were young and only cared about dressing up and going out to DANCE DANCE DANCE! And boy did we. These choones were and still are so infectous! am excited like a 22 year old again!!
The new generation cant handle tracks like this. All they want is a sub and a snare repeating endlessly with a muffled mc chatting about how he's gonna slice someone out on road and their happy- big up my old skool Rompa Stompas.
this is one of the first dubsteps songs made in the world

I can see how you'd get this impression.
But believe me, people will always yearn for swing,
even us new generation.

Shocking isn't it? Maybe it goes back too far for the Youtube generation! These were the days though..
