That's hilarious! ...regarding the south: GRITS is food, yeah, but it's also an acronym-stands for "girls rasied in the south". I guess its cuz all that "showin yir ass" that goes on. LOL!
I use that one all the time. Once I was at a friends house and her ex-husband came over drunk and wanting to fight. She told him to go outside because she wasn't going to fight with him in the house. When he went outside, we closed and locked the door behind him. She looked at me real serious and said, "He shoulda knowed I wadnt gonna go outside and show my ass like that"
