im on the part on this quest when im in alftand glacial ruins and im supposed to transcribe the lexicon. im stuck on the part where theres a metal barrier thing and im not sure if im going the right way or i just cant find the switch to open the barrier? please reply ive been stuck for 3 hours.

For those who are having problems when giving him the box, but then u can't get the next quest for blood harvesting, you need to be level 15, then go to whiterun enter any house then get out, you will see a dude giving u a letter from septimus, read the note to start the quest, Thumbs up so people can see :)

Someone told me that if you put that book into your book shelf on your house you can keep reading it and get all of those to 100, and you can read more than one section so you could get everything to 100 and get to level 50 just from that book

For the high elf blood just go to the thalmor embassy and kill any of the people there. For all the other blood go to liar's retreat like egoexcmil said.

Ok, I know he didn't show where to get all the blood types, but I found the Blood Bank.. Liar's Retreat is a dungeon that has everything except High Elf Blood (you have to check all the cells/rooms for the dark elf blood. As I went in, Falmers killed a Wood Elf Bandit. in the rooms, I found Orc and Dark Elf corpses, but also a living orc and another wood elf in the bottom level. so theres 4 of the 5 there. Sad thing is I didn't find a High Elf anywhere in the dungeon. I will update if I find one

@egoexcmil At the Fort just outside Windhelm, Morvunskr maybe? Anyway, Everything except Wood Elf and Falmer. Falmer are easily found underground. Wood Elves are the hardest to find, I'll use the above for that Wood Elf.

@DunmerFemale I would try not to murder any one lolz :P but kill enemy's in the wild there's a few caves i will post in a couple hours plus areas i will recommend so you can completed the quest
