This is not lego, it is a long ago set made by mega-bloks that were rare and highly prized, You sir are very lucky to have gotten a hold of one of these sets, they are like worth some hundreds of dollars.

I know others have mentioned this before but this is Mega Bloks not LEGO. I would buy this set (if it were still available) and other Mega Bloks Star Trek sets if they had actually bothered to make any. Too bad we'll never see a Star Trek theme from the LEGO Group.

@TheBrickworld I really want LEGO to market LEGO star trek but sadly, LEGO is just very dumb and retarded to ever know that creating a star trek theme, they would be raising billions. But you know how the LEGO group is, they are just too focused on their make-believe fantasy themes and star wars and whatnot. I think there is a petition that people are signing in order to get LEGO star trek, but i think LEGO would still not listen

Where did you get the parts for the bridge? They didn't look like Lego to me.

@ReoTharmus It's a Megabloks kit. They're known for sticking in unique parts specific to one particular kit, unlike LEGO, who have a standard system which everything must fall into.

Very good, nice attention to shapes... Making something as rounded and sleek as a starfleet ship from legos is tough.

Unfortunately the proportions are off, you should look at some of the many blueprint type picutures of the ship, the saucer is much bigger...
