They need to make a game where it is possible to run into any pokemon, by chance. You should be able to randomly run into a squirtle (for example) in some random route (they shouldn't make certain pokemon only appear in one particular route, or only in an event). It should be completely random, meaning if I start a new game I may not ever run into that pokemon again. They also need to make the rivals stronger and have better intelligence.

The best rival was Gary. His levels were always higher during all the fights in the game and he just seemed so much more powerful. I think it was the fact that he was actually mean to you and not a fucking wuss like the rivals in R/S/E and P/D/Pt. He was a real rival.

Yeah, normally your rival in the games has Fire, Grass, and Water types as considerations, like how Barry has Rapidash, Floatzel and Roserade. But one of them will get replaced by whatever starter he has of the same type (i.e. he no longer has Roserade because of Torterra).

actually red is quite simple -_- pikachu has very little attack and sp attack capibilities ( base of 50 ish on each rofl) and almost no defense at all (lower than its attack capibilities >_>)

and because red's 88 is his pikachu, which is roflmao, which is fail -_-. if that pikachu had been a raichu THEN RED would be the most OP rival in the games, on a side note pikachu hits about 3 times less than a staraptor on physical attacks and about 1.6 times less on special attacks lvl 88 vs lvl 80

Yep ur rival's Staraptor is as strong as Red's Pikachu (Level 81), his weakest Pokemon is as strong as Steven's Metagross (Level 79) and his starter is Level 85. Finally a worthy rival.
