i enjoyed the quality of the film very much. the opening crane shot seemed a tad off but alot of the color compostition made up for it. some of the shots in the film could have been cut out. some could have been added. but thats neither here nor there. so very good short. i would like to know what they are saying with SUBTITLES. but again. small. bravo.
also the credits kind of under cut the film. the film speaks subtly instead of action packed explosions. maybe something low key.
Yeah, subtitles are coming. At the moment I'm still in the middle of learning for my last oral exam and I'm also producing two shorts for the film colleges I'd like to go to right now... but at least in two weeks I have more free time. :-)

well it looks good but i mist the point in all that, i mean is nice quality good, great shots but - A - it's to short and - B - you should consider more complex story line and more advance use of the after effects. I my self not that long ago started shooting shorts but before that i use to do animations on after effects and learned somethings in the process that there all ways should be a good story line try watching the Film Riot show on tekzilla.
I don speak german neither do I understand it bt I enjoyed the short film ... really good job ... nice use of the dolly n the crane ... I also really wanna know how you did the zoom effect when he realised that these were the same guys from the painting .... n how long did it take to shoot the film .... n yeah subtitles please :))))))
@coolizo2002 Thank you very much. Now that I'm finally finished with school I'll have more time and can work on the subtitles.
It took us about 2 month to produce the movie from the idea to finalization. We had to two days of filming (very long and exhausting ones ;-))
The zoom effect was a so-called Vertigo shot. We moved closer to the person with the dolly but zoomed out, so it looks like everything gets more depth.

@RAQS90 Thank you very much. Unfortunately I'm very engaged in school right now (my graduation is in three months) but I plan on doing that when I got more time (this may take a while :-( )
@Hex72 wow you really have no class bro.... I am completely new to this stuff...I was simply refering to the film look the adapters get and the DSLRS can get it as well....I C you have never taught anybody anything in your life....stay blessed brah
@ENDTIMECRY If you have a DSLR that can record video then you're set. The whole idea of these adapters is to allow regular fixed-lens camcorders to make use of interchangeable lenses, in particular the shallow depth of field that they offer. :) Take care.
Hi, Ich liebe diesen Film!
@TheExplosivePictures Die HVR-HD 1000E is eine gute Kamera.
Contrary to what some have said, the 35mm adapter worked just fine for the whole film. Granted you can tell when the camera is on the jib, difference in color and no vignetting. Rather a good film even though i couldn't understand it. haha. I would recommend putting more weight on the jib for more stability. Using 35mm adapter on jib use a 50mm and remote FF unit. Good editing. Make a cheap dolly out of skateboard wheels w/track. Try to get your mic as close to your actors as possible. Keep it up.
@stoneground1 That you very much for your comment. Thanks for the tips. Now I got a DSLR and sold my adapter. This means it's easier to put it on a jib. Unfortunately I can't afford a remote FF. That's why the depth of field still has to be as deep as possible during these shots.
@gambit623 I have a SGpro, not a SGblade, which has no interchangable ground glasses. The ground glass of the SGpro is the same as the RotoRazor 2. It gives you that cinematic bokeh but also looses a bit more light than RotoRazor 1.
Seriously that's really good. Visually you're on great form and the equipment you have is unfair. As you get older, you'll get more finesse and you'll get better at directing actors. I wish I was as good as you when I was your age.
@DjangoMr Thanks for the compliment. That really gives motivation for further film projects. Also for me it's very interesting how you can develop yourself as a director and it's always nice to see an improvement over the last film project. :D
@Frankjames5454 Thanks for your compliment. I don't think we will be releasing english subs. For such a short project it wouldn't worth the effort. Our next film that is a major project will have subtitles.
