For those of a Christian background, who hold that the bible is 'infallible' :) I would recommend the books Misgod'ed and God'ed by Dr Laurence Brown. Both are excellent books - the first book Misgod'ed examines in detail the historical evolution of the bible and the christian creed - from the time of the Prophet Isa (Jesus) (son of the Virgin Mary and Slave and Prophet of God Almighty) through the Council of Nicea in 325 CE down to the Middle Ages. Amazing reading !!!

LOL..that is an interesting question!!!..first of all, there is no such thing as an advanced form of Islam, Islam itself is a pure religion, and only those who devote their study to the greatness of it will understand, and i know that by the grace of God u will too, keep on reading!!...as far as 72 virgins, the Qur'an speaks of companions who are pure virgins in Paradise...check out the following verses from the Qur'an:

44:54, 55:56, 55:72, 52:20, 56:34-36, 30:21...27, 9:72, 16:97, 40:8

I don't study the Qu'ran though as I'm a liberal Christian, and believe that Yeshua is the 2nd form of God.. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Two questions:

1) Why do you believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God, despite the countless contradictions? You know Christian scholars will tell you that John was written 65 years after Jesus, not by an eye witness

2) If you have not even read the Quran, how can you tell who inspired it? Are you just assuming the religion you were born into is true?

inshAllah the rest of the videos explained it to you.. it was only out of greeting and it didnt mean they were prostrating to him as a form of worship... just as the way Allah ordered all the angels (and the jinn iblees aka shaytan) to bow down to Adam, this was not as a form of worship either. At 19:51, Yasir Qadhi said, "...infuriate Aishah...". The word "infuriate" conjures up a certain image which I do not think is befitting, to be used when describing how the Ummul Mukminim (may Allah be pleased with her)may have reacted. The word may verge on the extreme in meaning.
