Constantine or 'Constanteen' as they call him in this turd film really makes you realize that most film adaptations of comic books are shite pure and simple and that they will always be shite, Alan Moore is right on target comics and films are two separate artistic mediums that just aren't compatable in any way.

Bullshit. Frank Miller's Sin City was beautifully adapted into a movie, and others besides. Granted they are different mediums, but that doesn't mean they're incompatible. And besides, if you don't like the movie, then don't watch.

or Acme Novelty Library possibly be translated to film? The two mediums are incompatable as art forms.

fan film 'Proper Gents' when it comes out,

I'm a bit more open to fanfilms if they're done on the scale of something like say
