GREAT video BUT the Redline overruns the STI, it's NOT how my STI reacts in real life! But also I have no a second RD in my car, that's why the STI performed so badly in your video and any other videos you tested both side by side!
I agree, I own an STI my self and it would never fail like that way it did here, It's always saved me. Plus it didn't seem like it was Instant-On because the redline alerted all the way, therefore that tells us that, the police car was not using instant-on all the way,until he went by him and the STI alerted, and that's when he really was hit with instant-on.
i think the redline is wlell worth it after seeing this it seems to be well worth the write up do you have any redflex low powerd k ban vans there that you can test it on
I ran mine did some test with a car in front running a v1 and it messed up the test it made my ix not go off till 0.01 redid it mine went off at 0.05 like the v1 did

I had the same problem with my STI driver, I sent it back for service as the ramp-up was as sad as it was in the video.

That STi has to be defective....an STi in good working condition would have gave at least a 1/4 mile warning on that.

on the redline detector does it have the option to turn off the led that flashes when you get an alert?

Yes, like the Beltronics STi Driver does.
Alert Lamp OFF, turns off the front LEDs during an alert.

You shouldn't run two detectors so close
I ran mine did some test with a car in front running a v1 and it messed up the test it made my ix not go off till 0.01 redid it mine went off at 0.05 like the v1 did
they leak this is not a good way to test things
