You should try running the game on Windows 7.. you might get some performance improvements.

Also, I'm getting the Samsung N130 for my 21st Birthday so, it'll be fun to try this out on it & some other games too :D

Tbh the speakers are probably the NC10's only real weak spot. They're very tinny and lack any mid-low tones.

The samsung is better because it has a 6.5hr battery life, theres even a model with an 11hr battery. Aspire one has 2.5hr, no matter which model it is

no it doesnt the acer 531 has 7.5 hours of battery life which is the one i have and it also has windows 7 built in so i think this is way better.

No, those ones are the 6-cell kind and windows 7 runs slower then xp on netbooks. 7 is less energy hogging then vista yes, but uses MORE energy then xp home.

have you tried running san andreas with "game booster " google it ... closes all backround programs before launching games , frees up loads of ram

Yeah I have tried Game Booster with a few other things and it increased the FPS by about 2-3fps on average.

No, no se puede. Podrás jugar a juegos anteriores a San Andreas (de hecho, necesitarás un programa que acelere el netbook para jugarlo bien). Es decir, que despidete de juegos modernos, si quieres eso no compres un netbook. Y programas normales si, pero Photoshop por ejemplo ya va un poco lento, tarda unos 40 segundos solo en entrar al programa, pero no esta nada mal para lo que es esta computadora, su tamaño y su precio.

I've had my NC10 for a week or so now and am just dabbling in some games for it, I'll be very keen to see how the GTA's run under the 2GB ram upgrade which I hope to have in the next couple of weeks. Good vid!

i have a question is it what ever can basically run on the asus eee pc of games can basically run on the samsung nc10 because im deciding between the two and its so hard and i like to over clock but i dont think over clocking does a huge diffrence but im not sure both laptops are very close but im leaning towards asus because of the easy way of changing the hdd and ram in the laptop

It's hard to draw a comparison because there are a large number of variants of the EEE PC. I went for the Samsung because their technology is very good, the battery life is excellent and it has a nice keyboard and screen

The RAM is a very simple job on the NC10 too. Not sure about HDD.

heh im gonna get the sammy probably i kinda changed my mind because of the 3g chip which is a nice feature ohh but im thining of holding off even more because of these new nvidia "ion" gpus that there goin to start throwing in netbooks so itll be good for gaming even though netbook isnt all about gaming but is also from what i heard nvidia is trying to increase graphics for better hd movies 1080i/p output and what not so im going to wait a bit

Nope! However you can adjust the resolution and draw distance to make it peform better but it runs fine as it is!

all net books are 1024/768 but you can go high which in some case i damage hardwere i have the acer aspire one and it xp with 1gb of ram 120 gb hd and 3 usbs,one sd slot and a multi in 1 slot for all meida cards

Not sure on the max frequency but the ram that is supplied is 667MHz and it is possible to put a 2GB stick in @ 667MHz.
