  • This is Sandy when I first saw her on the barge. She already had something special. Frailty, innocence and clarity. A sweet memory.

  • Thanks dullsvillain for posting this and the other recordings. Put them together and we have a new Sandy LP - which is a gift beyond value. Youl have given so many people so much joy.

  • @mickigoe

    Thanks so much.

In case you haven't found them , somebody put up 8 songs from a Sandy show 1973 - Ebbett's Field House, Denver

  • @dullsvillain Thanks - will check that out. Saw you commenting on Grace Slick earlier - you have incredibly great taste. If you like Spirogyra too , then we're blood brothers...or something !

  • she had to be very young on this recording, Her voice is so much higher than on most of her recordings

  • @westpalmscott

off the top of my head I think these are radio spots from her solo folkie days before Fairport.

  • Ah my poor darling dead and in her grave along with Sandy

  • Great folksinging.

  • I see your'e into Bluegrass and I'm glad you found these rarities. Yeah.... Sandy burns deep, even on these raspy boot recordings. I've got quite a few rarities posted and also a Sandy/Fairport playlist compiled.

  • WOW I REMEMBER WHEN YOUNG IN EARLY 70S
