@Kickingwing519 an interesting fact about Led Zeppelin...they were going to call themselves Lead Zeppelin, but they knew they were going to make most of their money in America, and they thought that Americans were to "thick" (i.e. stupid) to pronounce it properly, and they didn't want to go down in history being called LEED Zeppelin.

If this is true, it kinda hurts my feelings, being a dumbass American...lol, but i got over it.

@BeyondNeptune how would they have known they would've made most of their money in America? that's a bold assumption for a band trying to pick up the pieces from the remnants of another one. The New Yardbirds hardly set the world alight. i'll always go with the Keith Moon story of how they were named, hence we'll prove we're no lead (Led, you got that bit right) Balloon.
