Can't figure out why the pyramid structure with the third (seemingly All Seeing) eye in the center is so repeatedly prominent throughout.

I've always associated this symbol as belonging to those physical entities who control everything here and have enslaved us such as the Illuminati and the Bohemian Grove crowd.

Any thoughts, anyone?
