  • Soul as Soulful as it gets, from 2.10 onwards it defies description. How can this get 3 dislikes?

  • Now this is one vocalist that I wish was around today, cause she most certainly would run some of these so called"singers" off the damn stage !!!

  • NOTHING to say it is just too hauntingly beautiful!!!!

  • I can tell she believed these words that she was singing, u hear so much passion, pain, and love in these lyrics 28 years old is way too early to leave us but clearly her legacy is living on through those of us who understand and appreciate REAL good music surprisingly shot out to my boyfriend for putting me on to her music r.i.p Miss Linda Jones, what a natural raw talent she is theres none like her.

  • love diss song..tew deep!

  • oh by the way, those are the O'Jays on backround vocals. POWERFULL!!!!!!!!! where are the female singers of today with passion????? R.I.P. Ms. Jones---u can't be duplicated, immitated,or F__ked with!

  • @jdpatterson100 Actually my man that is not the Ojay's in the back ground that is the moments and whatnauts as she was from NJ. and in the same stable with Sylvia Robinson of the "Pillow Talk" fame the one who founded Sugar Hill records and Brought us Rap in the form of the Sugar Hill Gang that is who. Linda was just an awesome vocalist with raw power and sheet soul in her delivery. as a boy I loved her say back in 67 or 68 when the singers came straight out of the Churches! Man! John 3:16

  • @jdpatterson100 I stand corrected I went and checked cause I also remembered she did the song I'll be sweeter tomorrow that the Ojays had done and I saw that the Ojays had been in the fold. but still go on and check out her friends and song mates the Whatnauts and of course you knew of the Moments aka Ray Goodman and Brown.

  • The late Linda Jones was the very definition of Deep Soul - almost painful in her raw expression. Why can't the young folk hear and feel this music? Why can't they see in it any more than the next "sample"?

  • my mom used to sing this to me to let me know that she would never stop loving me even in death...and now that my mom is gone...this helps her to live on and helps me get through the pain of missing her! i cannot listen to this without crying. Thank You Ms. Jones, there will never be another as talented as you were!!! I bet shes in Heaven teaching angels how to sing! May God continue to bless this family

  • brilliant..she is feeling her song ..i am too..WHEW ..........CHILLZ..LADY HAS MAD SKILLZ..GOTTA HEAR THIS SOME MORE AND MORE

  • THIS MUSIC JUST DOES SOMETHING TO ME, IT GIVES ME CHILLS, AND IN MY MIND I GO BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD, WHEN I WOULD HEAR MY AUNT PLAYING THIS KIND OF MUSIC JUS CHILLIN....I LIKED IT THEN, CAUSE I LOVE IT NOW....MY AUNT HAD NO CLUE I WAS PAYIN CLOSE ATTENTION, SHE WAS JUST VIBING OFF OF WHAT SHE LIKED....SHE STAYS IN MY MEMORY FROM SONGS OF THIS NATURE....REAL DARN MUSIC!!

  • SHE SAID THAZ WHEN !!!

  • These vocals were gone too soon!

  • Linda is like a secret treasure. You don't want to tell anybody, but you can't help it.

  • This woman can sing to me all night long...in the morning too!!

  • To my Babies. Even though you're grown, and to my first love. your Dad.

  • best female voice...

  • Diabetes does not discriminate based on race. There just as many white people who suffer from it as well. People need to come together and fight against those things that are killing us without attacking eachother. Music is universal and love has no color.

  • @ztruth4u right on sweet heart im with u

  • I was a little girl living in DC the first time I heard her sing. She had a very unique voice. "This old heart of mine don't y'all know that one day is gonna refuse to beat." That's when I'll stop loving you!

  • @ztruth4u how bout when there is no remedys for aches and pain

yes lord sing girl. when mathamatictions find that 1 plus1 is no longer 2 thats when i'll stop loving u. gives me the chills

  • I was fortunate enough to see her perform live in Cincinnati, 1967 or 68. Nothing will ever compare to the energetic, heartfelt, give it your all performace that will forever be etched in my memory. This lady will always be in a class of her own-gone to soon- never will be forgotten. It is my hope that someone will bring this type of artistry back so that our children can understand what sangin from your soul is all about. I can't stand that artifical stuff that's going on now, it makes me sick

  • @54cookie1 How lucky you are to have seen this lady on stage. Here in the UK there are a handful of Soul fans who realise how awesome she was. I agree with you 100% she is in a class of her own, to me shes the greatest ever female singer taken from us tragically so young. Its scandalous that many so called singers, over the years, have gained far more publicity and success than her.

  • I LOVE LINDA JONES. I remember being a young girl and she had already passed by the time I got hip to her. We had a radio show called Blue Monday and they would play her songs. I use to stay up way past bed time so I could catch her songs and record them on cassette. I sure wished I could have had the opportunity to see her live. AWESOME TALENT! She sang from her toes to her soul.

  • You died much too soon. We will never forget you Linda!

  • turquois! your songs are fabulous!!!!!we know theres no one like linda......thanks so much for uploading all this enjoyment and pleasure...............!!!!!!

  • This was my sister's favorite, favorite song. oh man the memories. Linda Jones, baby, you were one of the best singers around. When I hear this song, I am 17 again. WOW!!!!

  • BLACK PEOPLE...! We need to recognise this Diabetes is REAL and it is killing us, paralyzing us, and making us loos our legs! Linda was a kid! and she died from this while she was in bed on tour!! We GOT to start letting the white man eat his own trash food.. Girl, take your ass home and COOK!

  • Don't know why this comment was necessary....this WHITE MAN loves Linda Jones and her beautiful music

  • i'm with you why do people ALWAYS HAVE TO MAKE RACE AN ISSUE?????????????????

  • i use to sing this to tee, even though he,s on his own, these words remain true...Linda u still got it goin on...such a rare gift!!!!!! when the birds no longer use wings to fly and when the raindrops stop fallin from the sky, when 1 and 1 isn,t 2 that,s when i,ll Stop lovin u.

  • yes, this is one of the most beautiful songs

  • i agree with u 100%. u have good taste in music. it is so sad when u love someone and they won,t do right. i think Linda Jones must have gone through some of these changes. may she R.I.P.

  • @ladyceetee yeeees, when there is no remedies for aches and pain. strong ass loving words leaves u speechless

    boomcc1

  • she must of new my heart because she sang it before we could ever meet your love lives on through me i love just as hard god has an other angel i miss your music forever.

  • this song was dedicated 2 me by a close friend love it!

  • lucky girl!

  • my my my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! terrific

  • I had never heard such emotion until I discovered this record in a stack of 45s in the hosue. It was so much emotion that it scared me in a sense. Sounds like she means every word that she is singing.

  • What a talent, however, Ms Linda left us music to treasure a life time. She definitely sings her heart out on "That's When I stop Loving You".

  • she was so strong and dynamic,..she was gonna be a huge star...this is my favorite by her..

  • dedicated to richard wing from margaret thomas i will never stop loving you

  • great touching soul song. I remember right after this song was released it was announed that she had passed away . listening to the lyrics after that makes it a very emotional song...

  • If y'all like this, as well you should, check out, "Ohh, Baby You Move me", also posted by Turquoiz. It seems that not a lot of people even know it's posted. If you try it, I'll bet you'll be glad you did.

  • Strange I was thinking the same thing especially when I heard her version of "Stop doggin' me around"

  • Some folks think Aretha Franklin is as good as it can get... LOL. Well... guess WHO has something to say about that, lol. Stay tuned.

The world is AWAKENING to LINDA JONES.
