You claimed that the words Cracker & Honky weren't associated with violent history, so it's not the same.

You would happen to be wrong there. Cracker is a reference to the white man during the years when slavery was big in the United States. And even if it wasn't, why would that change anything? The point is, it's still a racist term against whites, but you don't see us complaining.

@saaron62 - Well, people are too politically correct these days and it irritates me.

I find it stupid as hell that when a famous white person says 'nigger', it's on the news for months and everyone is asking if they're a racist, but when a famous black person says 'Cracka', or 'Honky', people just laugh about it an act as if there's it's no big deal.

Both are terms that are considered racist, but white people just don't give a fuck. Black people shouldn't either.

@PSNBloodraid- Black people get offended by this word because it is associated with slavery of Africans and where the slave owner (usually white!) to treat the slave as less than human and were used to by the KKK. White people are not as sensitive to the word cracker and honky because it not connected to such a violent history

I find it ignorant that people get offended by stuff like this. I am in no way racist, and feel that people who support stuff like 'black history month' are the true racists because they actually think that race matters.

Because most black people today weren't even alive during the Slave Trade.

The same can be said for people calling themselves Africans. 97% of black people in America were born in America, therefore they're Americans. Just as I don't go around calling myself a European, they shouldn't go around calling themselves Africans.
