I just saw a sermon by this man, vehemently lambasting gays. I think he is insensitive AND cruel, knowing fully well the spate of gay-teen suicides that havebeen taken place in the last few weeks. Pastors like him are ONLY out to build the kingdom of the devil, because it was quite obvious that is sermon was political as at the end he encouraged his followers to support the republican party. If only most Christians knew their role as followers of Christ. But only FEW are chosen, I guess.

So Pastor Jentezen was WRONG to be using his role as a pastor to influence people's vote. Then again it's not like the church today is the same church before the Catholic church took over. @Kumtekmeon Who hindered YOU? Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 both make plain that homosexuality is an abomination to GOD. Romans 1:26-27 call it "vile passions" and "shameful." Jude 7 states Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them suffered the vengeance of eternal fire for sexual immorality and going after strange flesh, which obviously included homosexual sex acts. You can read all about it in Genesis 18 &19. Go and study to show yourself approved...

Lev 18:22 is a direct response to cultural practices that the Israelites were exposed to in Egypt and Canaan. Where is the evidence that being gay is a learnt behavior? 2. To show how twisted your understanding is. Men and women are of ONE FLESH, 1 Corinthians 15:39-40. Jude was simply making reference to the ANGELS as he did in vs6 when some angels came and mate with the women (Genesis 6:1-4), likewise the people of Sodom attempted to have sex with the 2 angels! READ with understanding! Romans 1 was about IDOLATRY and how heterosexuals engaged in gay sex in worship of their idols. Where is the evidence that homosexuality is about worshiping idol in the church?

In addition if you believe Sodom was about homosexual THEN it's also about heterosexual, because women were there to engage in the sex act! But we could argue why He destroyed the city until Jesus comes again and the conclusion doesn't change what GOD said: "You shall not lie with a male as a woman. It is an abomination." 2. Do not LIE on God! God CLEARLY told us in Ezekiel 16:49-50 WHY He destroyed Sodom, but YOU prefer to take what man tells you over what God said! In fact Jesus confirmed His father's position By speaking of Sodom's sin TWICE in like manner, YET the church continues to focus on that which God did not speak of because man is obsessed with sex! Judges 19 tells a similar story to that of Sodom, but the church is silent on that passage even though is sheds light on the true nature of the Sodomites?
