  • wow. you could really be famous someday. u try out for one of the american idol, or the big talent shows

  • Brilliant, but do you wear retainers or just have a lisp?

  • @envvvvyy Hi, and thanks! :) I've never worn retainers, and I've never been told I have a lisp (though I suppose it's possible). I believe what you're hearing is just the poor sound quality on this camera, which makes it sound like I'm lisping. I've gotten better equipment since I recorded this, but have been too busy to update my videos!

  • @Frostlight oh, lol sorry i'll go watch you new videos then ;)

  • fricken amazing!!!

  • @sailormoon12320 Aw, that's so sweet of you! Thank you! I doubt I will ever be famous, but I'm definitely going to keep singing and making music, no matter what happens! ^_^

  • u hav a very nice voice lik wow

  • nice your accent is good

  • Ay capella. lol. Cool accent =]

  • Wow! Good! Amy is 10, and I bet you are 6 compared to her. Your voice is shaking, and thats not Evanescence style, so I guess Evanescence and Amy is not your best choice, but keep on going!

  • awsome ur english too

  • Hi, EmoStarzs! Sorry for the very late reply. I'm actually Australian rather than English, but don't worry - practically everyone makes the same mistake when they first meet me. Thanks for your comment, by the way! :)

  • wow this is really good stuff... i have a suggestion... try to get some gig time at a local bar or something coz that will start it off and possibly try to get some new stuff going and make a cd and sell it at a local college that is what my mate is doing atm so yeah anyway you have a really great voice...

  • Hi, daemon 330, sorry for the very late reply. I didn't check my YouTube account for months. Since this video, I've played a couple of gigs at my university, but that's it. Going to a venue is a really difficult thing for me to do, because I'm extremely shy about approaching people. I'm currently trying to form a band, and hopefully one of the others will organise the gigs for us so that I won't have to do it. ^^;;

  • I love your voice *-*

  • Omg awesomeness xD

  • Wow!! Really nice!! U sing it without backbeat and keep quiet good the rythme!

    Cool! 5*

would like to know if you like my own songs x)

    Keep Vlogging

  • your not english?? omg how culd that be an Australian accent??... did u have an english primary school teacher?

  • Oops, I have a backlog of comments I haven't replied to in a whole year. Oh dear. :(

I don't think I had an English teacher in primary school. It's more likely that I picked up the accent from my mother, who *is* English. I always sound Australian to myself when I speak, so hearing myself on recordings with a quasi-English accent is often very surprising!

  • I'm always interested to hear what artists other people think I sound like, because I have no idea. I'm glad you're comparing me to Alanis and Tori, though, because they are two artists I have not listened to very much. Inevitably I'm going to end up sounding similar to somebody, but coincidental similarities reassure me that I'm not imitating my favourite artists subconsciously, which to me feels almost like cheating. If I think my songs are starting to sound too similar, I often change styles.

  • "I love all your songs."

I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear that. That's my favourite thing to hear in the whole world. It's true that I write music based on my own experiences, but it means a lot to me that other people can enjoy my music and see something in it of themselves.

I must say that I still view shyness as more of a hinderance than a gift, because it does hold me back in many ways, but I am working on it. :)

  • I'm also Australian! *smile* I'm not sure where the accent came from - it's just the way I've always spoken.

You know, I would love to listen to your songs sometime. I'm really curious to hear them. Are you intending to post any up?

  • I'm afraid I'm not a gamer. I just loved the video for its great idea! I do enjoy the occasional computer game, but it's been about four years since I last bought one and I don't play often. I do hear that Guitar Hero is very good, so I keep meaning to try it someday. :)

  • wow!! this is really good.. you have a very powerful voice and this is a hard song to sing!! keep doin covers.. maybe with music lightly in the backround xxx

  • Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! :) I might see if I can find some sort of karaoke recording somewhere that I can use for the background - or else it's back to the keyboard.
