@applejuiceZOMG Record the demo in any Source game and smooth it from the game you recorded it from. So if you make a demo in Half-Life 2 you shouldn't be able to use it in Garry's mod.

Whenever I use Catmull-Rom and Source recorder igo into the camera record stop ectetera. And i use Virtual dub and the video is only my player view not camera ... Any ideas?

there`s a tool for gmod that lets you to set up smooth cameras in game its a bit easier and takes less time

It's called Catmull Rom Cameras, we at Angsty Studios use these aswell, however catmull rom cams only allow you to film in real time, this is more like halos theater mode where you can set up a shot that is already been filmed.

there is a stool called "catmuroll" that has almost the same features as the demo smoother but it only works in gmod and it has to be set up before you record

The Demo Smoother allows you to time your camera movements to specific events, and is far less "buggy" than the catmull rom cameras...Although at Angsty Studios we do infact use both...

well if you are making a machinima where you have to trigger alot of stuff then I think the demo smoother would be a bad idea especialy if you have to move while recording ( move to trigger something)
