This is a method used when cuddling does not work and we have tried this on every child in our family! It works!!!!!!!!

I know you probally thought this was harmless and funny. In reality it is not good. For the baby to see you crying like that streeses her out more because she thinks you are upset which in return makes her cry more. Try cuddling and soothing techniques for a baby this small. I did not enjoy this nor did I think it was cute/funny.

Though I agree with you, I must state that you should not be one telling someone else how to raise their child. Especially when I'm sure they don't purposefully mock their baby often.
