It's amazing how Microcomputer became PCs today, which are becomming bulky and out of date. Today's Microcomputers are like iPod touches and smartphones.
Yes, I was being sarcastic. However, I do have Apple II software that insists the disk stays in. Take Wizard and the Princess for instance. If I take the disk out right after it loads, it gives me an error every time I try to walk to a new location because all the graphics data is on the floppy. I'm not saying there weren't programs that could load entirely into memory and not requier their disk anymore, but there were programs that needed to go back to disk occasionally.
Yeah, always take the disk out of the disk drive once your program is up on the screen. It'll never need to access the disk again, even if the disk contains more data than can actually fit into available RAM.
@ClassicGarth LMAO!!!!!!!! I laughed my ass off when I read your comment. I used to own a TRS-80 and it took a hell of a beating more times than I can count, and it still worked.
OMG, they played it over here in OZ. I remember watching it and wondering what on earth a Radio Shack was. And why they spoke funny. I guess at about 10 years of age I didnt know the differene between Americans and Canadians. ;-)
"No, because as soon as you lift the flap, the disk drive will stop." Eh? So, if I could find a way to prevent the disk-drive from stopping, I could, in theory, load my fingers into the computer, then my arm, torso, legs, and finally my head. I would be a computer god living in a TRS-80 computer and all would worship me.... Mooohahahahaha!!!
I don't have the intro or end credits, but there is some possibility we will see it eventually. I know of someone who recently acquired a collection of this whole series.

No Billy, bad idea. No sticking your finger in the disk drive. It will get stuck and it will be very painful.
No one wants to see you coming into the emergency room with a TRS-80 Model III hanging off your finger.

And that 50tb memory is nothing compared to my 800,000,000 zb memory.
