These days if you sit on a game and play play play you will eventually complete it, whereas here you could spend £1,000 or $1,000 dollars and still not get off the near impossible level where everything was thrown at you.

I like how the ropes just fall off the silly cow, Silvia at the end there. I beat this game 5 times in a row as a kid and still it wouldn't end. 10p per go it used to cost and I'd make that 10p last for ages. Good times!

Anytime I ever played this in the arcade, the difficulty must have been turned up because the game would not let me shake off the grabbing guys. One would grab hold and no matter what I did, he'd hold on until I died.

Who ever made it never banked on anyone ever beating it to its entierty!I played the arcade version on mame.I turned the difficulty up to the very max.Then I turned on the invincibilty cheat I played threw it.I saved Silvia 6 time or more in a row.I never got any ending credits.Why would they make a game with no ending credits??Its not like anyone will make it far enough to complain.game was made unbeatable

its not Bruce lee game of Death, its Jackie Chan's Wheels on Meals. Main characters are named Thomas (Jackie Chan), Sylvia (The girl they save from the castle, the pick pocket throughout the movie) So it is based off of Wheels on Meals NOT game of Death.the video game took based off this movie due to its huge fame in japan and china, as of 1984 (the year it came out) the fight scene between Jackie and Bennie the jet was considered the best fight scene ever filmed. if You havent seen it, watchIT

I have this game for the arcade, and it's almost virtually impossible to beat without using no death mode. Irem was like that with a lot of their arcade games, and even Vigilante (a Kung-Fu Master clone, which I also have) is very tough to finish without cheating. Despite this game's brutal difficulty, I still like it better than the N.E.S. version, and it's a good way to kill some time too, especially since you can play it as long as you want to, until you get bored of it.
