  • Subaru is AMAZING!!!

  • vanadium site dot com

  • i think the chinese are our saviors. we see all the stuff they create. its absolutely amazing. :)

  • if 15 minutes to recharge is infact true then this is very revolutionary!

  • The sooner they get better with these, the sooner we can slowly ween our self from gasoline and oil. Ever increasing gas prices are only going to go higher as time goes on. Opec has us by the balls everytime we go to the gas pump.

  • awesome

  • Concentrated solar for better efficiency.

  • niice!

  • The design sucks but the revolutionary thing about this car is the vanadium battery - it has 5 times the range/capacity per lb of lithium ion batteries. BYD of China is also coming out with a vanadium run car. Anyone out there interested in car battery discussion?

  • @OprahGlide So throw me some weight figures. How much does each vanadium cell weigh, and how much juice can it store?

  • lol, the funniest subaru ever)

  • sick from the inside

  • anyone know what's the name of the song used n this video?

  • the body reminds me of a hamster and yet the paintjob and interior remind me of a watermelon.o-o I shall call this car, hamelonster

  • Hamelonster?

Yeah, I literally laughed out loud.

    Thank you!

  • crazy japanese...

  • i think they overdid the futuristic look

  • Electric appliances drain the mains, which adds stress on power stations, since most power stations are nuclear or coal fired - nothing electrical is zero emission.

  • solar panels. duh

  • pfft, yeah look how expensive they are and how many are actually being used...

Good point though, i did forget about that (wonder why!)

  • That's true only until our govt. gets off its backside and puts a few BIG solar farms in unused US desert areas.

  • @FlatulentX The only thing not 0 emissions about Nuclear is the construction, and disposing of radio active material over long periods of time. Other places may use wind, solar and hydro dams, which are also 0 emissions other than construction. Keep in mind.. It is much more efficient to transfer electricity to our vehicles, than transport gas/diesel. The electric vehicle also uses the energy much more efficiently than the latter. Less parts to brake than gas, so less emissions there too.

  • @luc59457 very good point man, i suppose we have to start somewhere if were going to improve our lives and the environment.

  • @FlatulentX I wouldn't say this is a start, but I would say we are still in the introductory stages of electric vehicles. This is a significant improvement when it comes to batteries but the electric vehicle has been around for a while. Only recently, because of batteries, has it become interesting. They perform well too. I have an 8lb motor that gives me around 60km/h, never seen a gas engine that small perform this well.

  • It's just greenwashing. No legacy auto manufacturer will sell an EV. Legacy auto companies won't build them because EVs never need service. Look how big the service department is at every car dealer, and your out-of-wallet experience there. Much revenue at risk. They don't make money selling cars. They make money on service, like a printer company that makes money selling ink cartridges. Additionally, funds that hold auto stock often also own Oil. Check LIVEOILFREE on youtube on GM ownership

  • Considering the current recession, people who can't afford to drive won't buy cars that run on gas or hybrids that cost more unless they sacrifice safety or comfort (like the Toyota Prius). Companies that sell evs (and they may be small) with less profit will still end up killing the gas run car. Technological monopoly is power. You add more technology to an ev for less. Things you can't do with a gas run car. (Sony could team up with Nissan).

  • Vanadium appears to be playing an increasingly important role in emerging energy-related technologies. Could this be the new lithium?

  • They should make this cars body solar. If it only takes 8 hours at 100 watts for 150 miles, a regular use like work and back would be free(unless it had been cloud days).

  • WOW, impressive figures for the li-ion batteries. thats my kind of daily driver !!

  • Mitsubishi's MiEV appears to be closer to market, but this is Subaru G4e is good news!

  • oooohhhhh, the japanese are competing in the electric car industry!! american electric car companies, say bye bye

  • @JUKIO01

    America makes better shit.

  • @gummywormz ya, say that to chevy and ford,LOL!

  • @gummywormz Since when?
