there was not a single thing about any of the Cinderella movies there was three and not to mention that was one of the reason we have a Disney world with the big castle and junk and also Cinderella was and all ways will be a Disney classic
i want the old disney back. i want it's magic again. their movies today are not just the same as before. i want my children and grandchildren to be able to feel the magic i felt before, when i was young through disney's movies and songs. PLEASE BRING DISNEY BACK!
I agree with this video 100%. The Little Mermaid and all classics after will always be the first thing people ever remember twenty years from now. A new world was opened up and sadly in the time span of 2000-2009 that was lost. Yes maybe Princess and the Frog kinda follows the theme, but it's too modern. Tangled is the best way for all those things to come back and hopefully there will be more to follow. Long Live Walt Disney.
@Crunchberry413 i believe that its because they are running out of new material i can start watching a Disney movie and know what the ending going to be
the falling thing is weird... if you watch the movie Tangled the villain dies falling out of Rapunzels tower D: I really didn't think Rapunzel was going to be that great but i think it captured a lot of the Disney elements
to me the princess and the frog was mostly like a goodbye, the end of an era (a wonderful ending) I admit that I will miss the old times but now that I have seen Tangled the future looks bright for animation and the new generations to come.
thanks! and i really hope disney has a new renaissance. tangled was wonderful..had all the aspects of disney movies that i have missed over the years. i really think tangled could put disney back on track! :)
Eh, I completely count The princess and the frog, it may not be the sheer classic as BATB or TLM, but it definently had that old Disney magic, plus a wonderful message of hard work. Tiana and Naveen are just as great an addition as Rapunzel and Flynn. IDK it may be because I love jazz that I fell head over heals for the music, wheras I found only about four songs from Tangled to be really great. Not counting the score because I loved that. It reminded me of celtic music.
@sailorsailor78 Huh, thats rather odd because even as a frog we still got to see him change from a shallow light headed playboy, to someone he truly wanted for someone else's happiness.
Wow!! I didn't realize all the stuff you had said about the Disney Renaissance being in the films. Your so right about it all and I totally agree about Tangled ^^ I did enjoy Princess and the Frog but not as much as I did with Tangled :) Who would have thought a movie I had somewhat low expectations (before seeing the trailer of course) would be something that I enjoyed oh so much and would consider it my NEW fave Disney movie! It should be the start of a new Disney Renaissance :)
@EnchantedAngel29 : Me too. I didn't quite enjoy Princess and the Frog because I think the frog is from the Swan Princess, the alligator is from the Peter Pan and the flamingo is from The Little Mermaid...too many used character. The story is really good but the song and music in the film is not so catchy... Somehow, I did buy its DVD cause I think it worth my collection.
@sailorsailor78 I did enjoy the character designs but I think with what they did is they stayed in like what you would call a safe zone, they didn't push boundaries or break any kind of barrier. I think thats what Tangled did, it pushed the boundaries and though it was CGI it was just as gorgeous as its predecessors. I also personally think the reason it was better was because they had Alan Menken writing the music and songs :) Not dissing PatF it was enjoyable but not the best :)
I love disney....

Did you know: Disney had to use special technology so they could animate Rapunzel's hair? It was so long!

Does anyone know where you can find the instrumental intro to The Beauty and the Beast (the one in the beginning here) without the narrator's voice?

The new Disney Renaissance Era began in 2009 with The Princess and the Frog and continuing with such films as Toy Story 3, and Tangled.

@DimitrisduchessXD: I like Tiana, but not Naveen. Naveen was mostly in his "frog form" throughout the movie.
