Mel must have been very proud of "County Fair" first featured in Disney's "So Dear to My Heart" in 1948 in a wonderful animated sequence. He also did the number on "The Rosemary Clooney Show" in 1956 or 57 with the fabulous Hi-Lo's along for the fun.

Ed Byrnes had one hit record on the back of his regular appearances as 'Kookie' on TV's '77 Sunset Strip' - It was a duet with Connie Stevens 'Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb'.
