its a tiny tiny very tiny bit different...........i'm a percussionist so i tend to notice these miniscule things...................it seems like the notes are shorter in this version rather than the actual game's version.

It is the actual game music. I got this off the official soundtrack. Although, now that I think of it, I got the soundtrack from Japan. The Japan's music version might actually be slightly different. Hmmm...

The Japan and North America soundtracks are identical.
