Maybe they know about Haile Selassie but Reggae and Rastafari are two different kind of things, you can´t put that together. You have artists who spread a message one more and the other less but real Rasta (whether Bobo Shanti or Nyabinghi) don´t deal with reggae music. Anyway, there are artists who are still holding on to those orders and principles but the Marley family runs their own principles, anything they do is too commercial,justwrong

@Boboorder I see what you mean, reggae is just a music genre, it has nothing to do with rasta religion, but it was created from rasta and rasta principles and there are real reggae artists out there, like the Marley family, who still hold on to those principles. But saying the Marley's are too commercial is just wrong. You can't demonize there success, and even tho they're so well known now, they still hold those teachings true to themselves, and calling them babylon just makes no sense.

Grand children need to realise materialistic things equal to nothing..Maybe be ambasadors of UNICEF or be true ambasadors of the united Nations and replace corrupt war mongering officials that's the way forward and don't forget the lyrics cause that's part of gospel!!ONE LOVE

@Boboorder Marley and babylon should neva be used in the same sentence. If it wasnt for Bob reggae and rastafari wouldnt be as accepted as it is today. all they doin is carryin on the family legacy, thats no babylon, thats roots. they may not be doin the same thing bob was doin but times change, but they know rasta and they live by it, and bob had no will so they had to start with nothing and buy back the rights to his music, so none of the marleys grew up with money, they are roots rasta.
