My favorite scene in the whole Gotham Knight movie. Him takin down the bad guys with little/NO difficulty by HAND & without superpowers. No other DC character could pull it off save 4 the people associated with Batman himself (Nightwing, Jason Todd, etc).

@semen690 Have to agree with you about Kevin Conroy being Batman's true voice, even when I read the comics now I could picture it being said in that voice. He's the one who did the best job at it, don't really like any other Batman voice.

this is exactly why i love batman. not only can he go up against punks with guns and come out on top, but the intimidation he used for his character now is unbelievable. in scenes like this he's like a demon sent straight from hell to put terrified criminals in their place. long live the dark knight.

If i was a thug I would piss my pants if I saw batman like that. This is the best out of all the animations this brings out the real batman for me, the movie batmans arent that great the dark knight was awesome because of the joker which is a big A+ on that. But no movie has done what this has shown Fear, the villians dont piss themselves like this guy just did. That' why they did it in anime instead of live action so the character can express fear better then live action.

Yeah, well there's a little suspension of disbelief involved of course. It's pretty ridiculous to imagine him carrying around these 500ft ropes he uses to swing all over the place. Heck, it's hard to carry a 5ft extension cord inconspicuously.

But Batman is still the greatest ever.

I know this is just cartoons, but I still don't see how the character Batman can stop a thug with a gun. In the cartoons he uses a boomerang, which in reality is just plain silly. And in this situation if the thug had pulled the trigger first instead of talking, there was really nothing that batman could do.

@GorakTheBig Also gotta think he's using her as a hostage, so Batman couldn't do anything to him like thugs/robbers do in real life so the police cant act fast. If he killed her then Batman wouldn't have to stop anymore he could have beaten him to near death. But with a hostage he thinks he has a way out but, being terrified by batman he cant think straight. So, batman uses an opportunity to stop him when he isn't focused.

I wonder how you enjoy some of the best fictional ideas ever made when you stop to question something so undeserving of criticism. Take it seriously, and you just might enjoy it.

I see how superman can fly. He has superpowers. Has to do with him being an alien or something. No, I don't get the details, but those would fall under the category of the one exception to reality that is the premise of the fiction. In most fiction, that is the only exception and the rest of the world generally conforms to logic. In comics reality is certainly more leniant, but there is still logic.

Having no powers, batman is more logic bound than any other hero.
