  • good fight

  • 1:00 that was the worst attempt at rubber guard i have ever seen. Ever.

  • @stephenrobertrae this is amateur level if your so good why don't you post your fights on youtube

  • @lawless130 Because I don't care to?

  • @stephenrobertrae Why are answering my question with a question? Never the less the reason is because you can't fight, your just an internet critic who watches too much ufc but don't actually participate in the sport.

  • @lawless130 It was less of a direct question, and more of a berating, "are you stupid" sort of thing. But sure, because I don't feel the need to film myself as an amateur fighter that MUST mean I don't fight, right? I see no flaws in your logic at all.

  • @stephenrobertrae Crappy internet sarcasm aren't you a clever boy. Your not a fighter your just one of these keyboard warriors that goes onto peoples videos and criticizes them doing something you never could.

  • @lawless130 LOL okay dude. You win. I am nothing but a fat suburban white kid who never exercises. lol

  • Wow you got it wrong why would you want ametures throwing to the head

  • what a struggle with arm bar :))))

  • 0:58 TRIANGLE CHOKE!???? COME ON!

  • @BomChickaWhawa Easier said then done. Anyone can stare at a tv and be like "Knock him out! omfg sutff his take down!"

  • @BomChickaWhawa

rubber guard not triangle choke man.. you can't get a triangle when he has both hands inside

  • @apocalooza he had opportunity to do it just had 2skip his elbow.... but he missed anyways so....nvm ;]

  • @ixeqilibrium yeah i see what you now he coulda pulled it alright but he had rubber guard he would have been better off going for a gogoplata.. well at least thats probably what i'd have done :) everyone 2 his own i guess

  • no headshots .. for those guys who can only train once or twice a week, and have to go to work the next day

for some people its just a hobbie, most amateur events seem to fall on a sunday, i have to go to work on the monday so i don't want to be too bust up

  • @flatlinerking

    amen to that

  • amateur rules should be as in finland, no striking on the ground and no kneelocks, everything else the same as in professional.

  • usually if its no shots to the head the fight is judged on points, aggression and control and stuff.

  • this is called pancrase.. you can hit the the head only with an open palm.. either that or its kyokushin karate with grappling aloud. They arent trying much for the head it seems.

  • can you only win by submission if theres no shots to the head?

  • @chilidog1001 hope i've won (my only win) with a body shot ko

  • @GetALifePleaseThanks its only a friendly amateur event....focusing on striking ruins peoples grappling skills

  • countless opportunities wasted. such a shame...

  • fuckin punch him in the face !

  • Most of kicking especially punching power generates from the legs and abdominals. your foundation is crucial so make sure you have developed a stance you can get in and out of situations when your standing. you want to be quick, deceiving, accurate, timing, precision, evading, know where the knock out points are and practice only hitting the targets. I hope this helps. Goodluck to whomever reads this. :D

  • @crazyjudo01 thats why you allways have to tighten your stomach when you throw a punch.

  • @IStartedroflcakes Yes! :) Cause if your abs play a big part of generating power to your fists. NICE!! ;)

  • @crazyjudo01 YAAY! I FEEL SMART NOW! and im only 13 years old! :D

  • @IStartedroflcakes hahaha Good job man keep it up. The power with punching always comes from the legs and abs. Maybe you might have a talent for this sort of stuff? :D

  • @crazyjudo01 yah,im a natural,my dad bies me boxing equipment all the time.but i have'nt worked out in weeks.i need to get back into running shape if i ever wanna to grow up to be a bad ass.

  • @IStartedroflcakes Ya even if you never fight which is actually a good thing just do it for the knowledge. And you have to have a heart for this too so keep it up little dude. I'm sure your gonna be good at it whether its to fight pro or for your own self benefit.

  • well its there first fight so not bad. There is too much hopping around. You naturally want to relax so your reflexes are quicker and want your elbows dropped to your side this makes it easier to guard your face to your ribs. You want your arms relaxed and 60% of your weight to the back leg and 40% percent to the front leg thats how your stance should be. You need to twist your hips when you kick and explode with the back leg for your jab and twist your hips for your straight punch :)

  • This is pankration and not mma....

  • @GetALifePleaseThanks Its amatuer fight man.

  • youre triple grip needs some work

  • pretty good amatuer fight good work need abit of stand up work bye the looks of it but your ground game is pretty nice for your first fight. idk if u want criticism and u probly got noticed after watching video but i noticed u leave ur hands down on u leg kicks and kinda leave your hands down abit i like to use sholder of kicking leg to block myface and other hand to face it works ok. also when u throw ur body shots ur other hand was not blocking ur face. good first fight

  • @GetALifePleaseThanks whatever...its clearly mma but if youre too blind to see that then whatever.

  • @GetALifePleaseThanks im pretty sure they just want them to be safe because they cant protect them. and im pretty sure this is still mma..?

  • @GetALifePleaseThanks actually its not retarded. It's cuz they have no insurance coverage.

  • yea thats crap! i was wondering why they kept ignoring huge openings, for punches to the head

  • if i was fighting i would have thrown 500 leg kicks in 2 minutes...i LOVE the leg kick always fucks the other guy up and lets me go right in for the submission

    4-0 (all wins by submission)

  • @darthsasuke554 Yeah I don't get it many people avoid the leg kicks. Leg kicks can be the difference in between a win or a loss

  • Ye u guys need some improvement

  • I would destroy these guys :P Look at them, they're scared of pain! You'll never win if you're scared to get hurt. Just get in there with some kicks and blows to the head, throw him down and submit that motherf**ker XD

  • @oop1127 No..you wouldnt.

  • @alwayssunnyinny Mhh, yes I would.

  • @oop1127 Nah. You just trying to act tough on youtube. Its ok dude. How old are you.

  • @alwayssunnyinny Are you for real? I'm 17. I don't act tough on the internet, I despise people who do. You're response obviously shows that you're one of those people though. Trying to diss me without any reason. If you need to relief some stress and release some anger. Try MMA yourself... Don't bitch on the internet.

  • @oop1127 I wrestle buddy.

  • @oop1127 haha yeah buddy im sure you would destroy these guys..

  • Kind of like the idea of no shots to the head -- it forces the fighters to "think out of the box" and discover other ways to submit.

  • no sorry guys ive been doin mma for a while now and what your seeing is obviously amateur mma it well really is predominately just grappling buts its all you can do at that age it is not possible to proper proper cage fighting at the age unless i think you really good otherwise these guys are quite good

  • I dont know why they dont do shots to the head but for my people we dont do closed shots to the head becase the main component of MMA is grappling and does not always require striking for victory. Open shots to the head "slapping" can cause enough pain or discomfort to accomplish the task of what striking would do with out permanent damage.

  • A good fight. Interesting arm bar at the end. He goes the other way.

  • ummm... which ones frank?

  • if it was no strikes to head omg i would leg kick like a mother fucker lol

  • Is this a greek flag??? 0.27

  • those two are to scared to be good fighters

  • @360owns I guess no strikes to the face? How can this be called an MMA fight?

  • Which one are you?

  • its his first match. watever. he'll get better.

  • Why guys thumb down my comment it's true I'm not even joking

  • @SpyderMonkeyMMA were do you train? what weight class you in? do you have any fights?

  • hahahaha he had his arm but the other dude was giving him his leg too, throwing them all over, looking like a tortule on its back.

  • @artemaso lol u wtf is a tortule

  • how do u get an amature mma fight?

  • @desepetos train at a gym and ask someone who fights.

  • So did you win or lose? How is the guy that uploaded this...

That armbar could have been quicker if the other took a risk and threw his left leg over the guys body.

  • This Sucks, not you man but that fucking rule! I mean, I can kinda understand why this rule is in effect but still. I wouldnt compete in something like this. but nice first fight man, keep training hard!

  • Respect, good fight for someones first time. Guy in green shorts needs to learn a proper rubber guard, and work on the low kicks. Magic couldve happened if a proper rubber guard set-up is learned. Look up Submissions101 for it.

  • dis is cool but kinda whack cuz u cant strike 2 da head ill have my fights up soon

  • man that sux no strikes to the head... i have my first fight comin up were just not allowed to knee or elbow strike to the head... the only good thing i see about no strikes to the head is it forces fighters to work on there ground game too... is it just for the 1st fight your not allowed to strike to the head? or just a certain amount of fights?

  • That guy doesnt even know how to roll out of an armbar?

  • I wouldve hit him in the head why even allow kicks to the body without head shots might as well have made it a bjj fight.whats the coach thinking saying dont go to the ground without shots to the head its going to go the ground eventually.

  • thats wat im saing

  • I think the rule no shots to the head is a good idea for beginners, but still they must have been thinking while fighting man i wanna punch that guy in the face?

  • fag

  • id defenitly wanna fight both these guys

  • Unless you have at least a few months of training, you'd be suprised at how good these guys are compared to the average dude. Its a light contact fight between two pretty nervous and apprehensive fighters.

  • yeah jbob35 i totally agree. just within a few months of training your fighting becomes so much more finessed than that of a normal person, normal people can't even begin to realize how much damage someone who trains even for a little bit can do to them.

  • +1, just check out my first fight

MMA experience vs Muay thay experience.

imagine vs someone who doesn't even train

  • f u youd get ktfo

  • check out brad schierbaum vs justus starr

  • what was the purpose of this, how do you have mma with no strikes to the head

  • retarded? your comment sound like one

  • I think that training without shots to the head leaves you unprepared for a higher level fight.

  • and it definitely ruins chances of training your ground and pound :P

  • @jackvaxx2100 and increases your chances to train sub,the backbone ;)

  • Is this in Oakdale California because I am going to start there soon. I used to go to ISDI but I moving

  • we do this in training sometimes, 5 3 min rounds only body shots and submissions

  • pretty good though I personally believe head strikes is one of the most entertaining parts between that and submissions its pretty good haha I plan on entering tounraments as well cause I want to be in the UFC although I probably wont I'll never know unless I try but I got a few years til I can enter them so rock on

  • nice fight man. keep the work up and you can get real good. ameture fights are a good learning experience win or loose.

  • dude learn how 2 fight this is really lame

  • Take your own advice, upload a video, and show people what you have...else you shouldn't be talking.

  • agreed

  • Hey for all the guys that are screaming armbar to frank, or telling him what to do, SHUT THE FUCK UP, not only does Frank probably know what to do, but your telling his opponent what to watsh out from, so maybe you should shut up and just enjoy the show!

  • Sounds allot like his coach...

  • most am mma fights i have seen allow strikes to the head but there is the head gear

  • ye, but the prob is headgear effects the groung game, eg. guilotines are almost imposible to escape from lol. sare lots of choke moves, so it comes down to the organisers on wheather they wan't to ban moves like guilotines or take out headstrikes

  • this is crap

  • How old are they?

  • God damn you guys are stupid....

  • No strike's to the head? That can't even count as an AM MMA bout.

  • its amatuer dude

  • exactly, u can strike to the head just no elbows, no knees to the head while opponent is on the ground. other than no kicking to the head while on the ground everything goes...

  • yahh no kidding....NO STRIKES TO THE HEAD>?

    JUST SHOOT FOR SUBS THEN....!!

  • no strikes to head? wtf thats gay. good for the guys fighting shitty for everyone watching

  • Wow! Looks really fun! Is there any information for this type of competition online?

  • dam no strikes allowed that sucks

  • Very nice arm bar. ;D

  • Please!!! chek my kung-fu MMA NEW FIGHTS,

    please comment and rate

    thanks!

    =) DC

  • i am just starting mma. im 13. any techniques i should no about?

  • technique is called don't do mma.

  • actually, faggot, techniques to me, are fighting styles, kick boxing, muay thai, bjj, judo, thts what i meant. so dont act like a fucking bitch, cus u didnt understand wat i said.

  • jeez, 13 year olds calling themselves gangsters and running around swearing at people. World has gotten funny

  • ur right word has gotten funny,.... but just cuus my fucking name has the word "gangster" in it, dont mean im a fucking a nigger, smokin weed and rapin white women,... and wow, a 13 yr old cursing, who the fuck cares? seriously, no body does. and dont bother responding to this comment, cus im not even gonna read it..... so ull just be wastin ur time, unless u have no life...

  • lol bro u have to have a lot of fighting experience.

i'd say join some brazilian jiu-jitsu and muy tai or kajukenbo class.

ive been in kajukenbo for 8 years nd have a lot of fighting experience. (im 15 years old and still training)

im going to start doing amature fights when i turn 18 in 2 years (gonna turn 16 this year)

im also starting to do backyard fighting, and a LOT more training and conditioning.

you have to be VERY commited to everything.

and you will never learn all of the techniques.

  • that was a sick fight ,

    hope you keep it up

im looking foward to seeing more of you.

you should go to my channel and share some love for my mma team

    =]

    please.

    and thanks.

  • Green trunks- so bouncy on the stance, not to secure for take down defense. It seemed to calm down a bit later in the fight. Maybe just excited because of first fight?

  • yea hard to put it together with no head shots. Might as well just shoot

  • its kind of hard to work from the top with no shots to the head allowed. not much u can do from mount.

  • awesome first fight. work on building your punching confidence, oh wait, i see amature fights theres no head shots? hmm silly me.

  • 3:14 perfect setup for an arm-bar TKO

  • some say it's the "white mans sport"

    as black people dominate boxing.....

is this a well known thought?

  • because of the Black peoples history of being slaves, they are usually a better example of the human body, because it is in their DNA to be physically fit and strong because the white people would do nothing and make the blacks do everything... and no, I aint black, I'm white

  • well ur half right and half wrong. Most blacks who are slave decendents have the genes of a physically active human being. but in the case of a white it depends on their own genes as dated back to their ansestors. I am white.

  • meh, I'm sticking to my theory, hahaha, good point tho

  • Not all whites lived in america, or owned slaved, or didn't do there own work, same for blacks.

  • anyone that was white, in the governments eyes, were better then the black people, so they had some kind of slave.

  • No they didn't.

  • You had to be wealthy to own a slave, you weren't just handed one.

  • Ok from reading the last comments.. I think "jiujitsu" has to agree with me in saying that you guys are just all... Oh "UFC.. KICK THE SHIT OUT OF SOMEONE" and no nothing aout the actual Sport of MMA. Amatuer comps dont alow head shots.. and usually there is some protective gear on the legs (There is in ireland anyway ^^)

  • it depends on where your fighting, either the state or the orginization that your fighting for makes the decision for the head shots, my friend had a MMA tournament in Iowa & they alloud headshots

  • its an amateur event no head hitting retart

    vvvv

  • Serriously? Does this rule change between one org and another?

  • I spar with headshots at my gym I think I need to find an amateur match somewhere else lol.

  • no strikes to the head??? hahaha that ain't mma! that's elementary school kids play

  • baaa wtf looks like when i spar

  • no punchz 2 face... :( .....good training but not good watching lol

  • no punches to the face? that's not even a fight lol

  • Good fight i enjoyed it and whats up with people dissing the kicks they looked fine to me but then again what the hell do i know

  • nice arm bar. i like dat.. try working on your kicks a bit more tho. both of you. but good fight.

  • not-effeminated[brave] boys??

  • I was thinking why arn't they punching the other guys faces in, wide open, but I guess that wasn't allowed lol. Oops.

    Good fight,

need to work on ground game from the guard (both) and kicks (Both)

nice arm bar, you just need to put the legs across faster and bring him closer to you. nice job though

    kudos

  • goddamn your coach is annoying

  • Hey good fight man. Props to your cameraman as well.

  • minimooseryou are an idiot. WWE is completely planned out and fake. MMA is a fight with actuall striking and submissions. And the refs call the fight when a fighter can't properly defend himself. Which means he has already lost. If you know nothing about MMA, dont comment on it.

  • Jujitsu flaw- you have my friend on the ground I'm going to kick your skull in. How to beat someone in a fight... walk away. MMA is a bad as WWE at least with WWE you know your going to get a few mins of entertainment, ref's stop fights way to fast in MMA.

  • thats fuckin gay no stikes to the head thats some pussy ass shit

  • I;d like to see you beat them in a fight pal, it was an amateur fight with AMATEURS, not pro's.

  • yea i do amature muay thai and we strike to the head with kicks and punches thats really wierd

  • you are absolutely correct you need to go for head shots.

  • Nice fight. The arm bar could have been escaped...but still an impressive fight.

  • u see he tried to turn it out, however the dude that was giving the arm bar kept one foot under his body to avoid the turn over i think... nice fight. just throw more jabs

  • If they put the foot under your body you can simply roll backwards out of the arm bar.

  • true, lol.. my bad, i was thinking u had to turn the other way. you fight or just watch?

  • i have been doing jiu-jitsu for a couple years. i watch more then i fight.

  • lol, how could have he escaped the arm bar? that was a good arm bar, if ud escape from one done properly ure pretty lucky

  • i have a very good bjj instructor...i know counters to all sorts of things.

  • Some states don't allow you to strike to the head, or no strikes to the head on the ground. It all depends on the state and the governing body for the event.

  • which one are you?

  • i fight in mma and im allowed to strike to the head!!

  • congratulations to you.

  • that was an amatuer fight with special rules, professional mma is totally different

  • Cool, how much cardio do you do in a typical week?

  • Nice... if I needed hired help...I'd hire both these guys!

    jack

  • are there any pounches to the head?

  • not under amature rules
