  • well, the fan sucks, graphic sucks, prossesor sucks, its bad on everything unscept! the keyboard is wonderful!

  • @BHFS07 That's funny. You're wrong on everything. It's the keyboard that is the weak point, all the other hardware is great. Sounds like you've got a different variation but haven't realised it. Funny.

  • definately one of the worst laptops made! Lol! Nothin can suck this bad. This laptop gets super hot, after one year; the battery stopped working, all USB broke, the mousepad clicks randomly, paint is wearing off, and I constantly need to restart because Microsoft doesn't care about how much shit their products eat! They have never been innovative!

  • @lorkuna I'm on mine right now and bang for buck this laptop ate the competition so I'm still chuffed. If you let your laptop get clogged up with junk software that's your issue. Using abr activation backup I did a retail install and got rid of the HP bloat. Much better.

  • @lorkuna i have the same problems, for the repair money i could of alternetavly bought a new comptuer already, my comp is going crazy at the moment, this is why im watching this aswell :O

  • the thing you said is a card reader is a remote control!!!!!! i learned it today! the laptop may not have bluetooth but this works like the tv remote! and you can control music and stuff like the apple remote.... just push that thing in and pull it out! I have this laptop for 1.5 years and learned this today:P

  • @GeorgeChar95 The card reader is under the expansion card slot which is filled with the remote control. I made no mistake. See 6:28 because you clearly didn't watch it all.

  • Can i change the video card in my hp pavilion dv5- 1235dx? I want to change to a Nvidia or ATI because the intel graphic card sucks when I play call of duty is too slow

  • @Kevparedesherrera nope, the card is part of the motherboard itself.

  • @grannman are you sure? I want to change it :( so how can better the quality of COD?

  • @Kevparedesherrera yes I am sure. The only way you can make call of duty run better is turn down every video setting you can find. Integrated graphics like you have are not good for games.

  • I have an at1 radeon graphics card. It runs Decently.. But the graphics ain't so good. Hp dv5 also has lots of screen flickering problems.

  • can this run RE5 without problems?

  • @grannman Radeon HD 3200

  • @Bestsnipe3 yes I thought it would be the AMD/ATI dv5. The Intel/Nvidia dv5's like mine don't seem to have issues. I've done a fearful amount of high stress gaming on this laptop. 100s of hours of high stress use without a hiccup so I'm quite impressed it's still chugging along fine.

  • Mine overheated so much while gaming that the graphics card got fried and I even use a cooling pad lol

  • @Bestsnipe3 I've done an epic amount of gaming on this laptop and no problems. What graphics does your laptop have?

  • @grannman Doesn't sound too farfetched. I am a huge fan of HP, believing they are one of the best mainstream brands. But, they sometimes have faulty power jacks, and TERRIBLE cooling systems. I've almost lost many laptops because lent gets easily caught into their vents, and you'll find it trapped in the fan and heat sinks, about the size of a 9 volt battery. You should tell that guy to clean his vents. He must open it though. Cooling pads and air won't help. Just ordered one of these though.:)

  • im using dv5 right now going to get dv6t but ... DV5 is heating like hell... it gets so warm that it crashes and shuts off lol :/

  • @GunZi200 Mine used to overheat quite a lot due to lack of ventilation. After 2 1/2 years of use, I opened it up, reapplied the thermal paste and cleaned out the fan which was full of dust. Runs cooler than before.

Tilting it up will help as well.

  • 00:06- nice bullet

  • I put my DV5 on ice while gaming.

  • laptop overheats and shuts down

  • thanx for the respond..But yeah in my device manager my devices is uninstalled and not working.

  • what is the original network controller to the dv5

  • @pookieslim depends on the model dv5 and Intel or AMD platform.

    My ethernet is a Realtec RTL8168C(P) 8111C(P).

My wireless is an Intel WIFI Link 5100 AGN

  • @pookieslim if it is coming up as uninstalled in device manager - make sure you have installed the laptops motherboard drivers.

  • @grannman i have one of these the dv5 1111ea and it is constantly overheating and because of that the battery has had to be taken out as it leaked and hp support are the worst.

HP told me to take the whole thing apart to clean the fan so i did and it still overheats does yours

  • @binweevilsrocks @binweevilsrocks @binweevilsrocks Mine gets hot when gaming but it doesn't get so hot that it shuts down or has any other problems. So your laptop heats up and shuts itself off? Make sure you aren't suffocating the laptop on a blanket or soft surface.

I'd say the heat sink on your laptop isn't properly contacting the cpu, perhaps the thermal paste between the two surfaces is not applied properly. If the laptop is under warranty you could send it back. Big hassle though.

  • @grannman the laptop has been back twice but hp says nothings wrong with it.

i have read on the internet that it is a wide range problem with this type of laptop something to do with the graphics card not getting proper cooling.

im changing it any way in month or two and thanks for the quick reply

  • @myaccount140 I'm replying to you from this laptop right now. It is still going just as well as ever. The battery is completely dead though. The main reason I would change my laptop is concern over how long it can stand up to the lengthy, hot gaming sessions.

  • game???????????????????????????????

  • @leomessi963 .................. yes?

  • Yeah.. but now it's the Dv7! FTW!

  • hows your battery my battery is fried no charge holds..... should i get a 12 cell or 6 cell.? how long does yours last?

  • @muratcoban123456789 It used to last just over an hour. Now it is completely dead. I'm typing right now with no battery, just running off the adapter.

  • you don't have to take my word for it but do not expect any battery what so ever. I had mine for two years and it hols for aprox. 2 min. Bet it's the same for all dv series laptops because the design is so stupid.. fan underneath the laptop, so you basically have to have it on something that lifts it up at all time to keep it from heating. Just as this guy reviewing does.

  • dv7! :)

  • @Fatal548 awesometastic.

  • having issues with my Quickplay. Upgraded my dv5 from Vista to Windows 7. Doesn't seem to work properly. HP has been no help in this matter. Hard to find info on Quickplay problems. Any advise? Thanks.

  • @carolloveskiwis Personally I'm glad I don't have any of the HP software, it was redundant bloat in my book.

If you go to the hp website and drivers and downloads you can find a list of hp software for windows 7. HP call all their multimedia stuff "media smart" under windows 7 it would seem.

  • For all those who had the FN key reversed is in the bios option as Action keys, normally it comes enabled. Good luck!

  • habla español

  • Hey I have a hp pavilion dv5 2247la I belive it is, is just I wonder if it's normal to have the FN button function inverted, is like I don't need to press it for it to do the secondary function, I would like to know if that's normal, if not how could I disable it?

  • @SuperPandry if the function button is permanently on, there's something wrong. I have no idea how you’d fix it.

  • I got the silver dv6 but I always liked the design of the dv5's better

  • it overheats a lot, i have a blu ray drive on mine.

  • what is the monitor measurements?I mean how many inches?

  • @nystagmuss 15.4 inch

  • got the same laptop...

got this almost a year ++ nice laptop you can play nba2k11 and other HD games but now my laptop got keyboard problem and LCD problem sad...

  • Hey i am on the same exact laptop and i was wondering if they can handle games like "Garrys mod,Halflife2 ep2,and Counter Strike Source".Cause i am going to get a Toshiba Satellite l675D because my Best friend has the toshiba and it runs PERFECT for Gmod hl2ep2 and css just Wonderful it runs while this one well.....it is kinda bad for those games.but idk if i shoiuld keep this.Or get the toshiba i think i should get the toshiba

  • @racerdbo If your laptop has the 9600m gt and decent dual core then definitely. I bought the half life package off steam and played the whole series from the original Half Life right up to half life 2 episode 2. No worries at all. I know nothing about Gmod though so can't comment on that.

  • @grannman Garrys mod is pretty much a source mod of Half Life same stuff but you can add addons to gmod but for mine it Lags freezes up almost everyhour oh and doesnt respond everytime i play it.I get lucky to play iton 1 shot it works so i definetly want the toshiba cause my friend with the toshiba i play gmod on his comp and it NEVER EVER freezes up.And he has every mod that i have.Online never frreezes on his comp.LIke NEVER.So thats why i want that kind of comp

  • @racerdbo it all depends on the laptop specs and what background programs you're running. Some antivirus active shields can significantly tax performance for example. If his model of toshiba has a better graphics card then it will perform better in more demanding games. If you're computer runs the mod fine once you're actually in the mod, but has freezes or stutters at regular intervals - say every 10 minutes or something, then you've got a non-hardware related problem.

  • Hey i am on the same exact laptop and i was wondering if they can handle games like "Garrys mod,Halflife2 ep2,and Counter Strike Source".Cause i am going to get a Toshiba Satellite l675D because my Best friend has the toshiba and it runs PERFECT for Gmod hl2ep2 and css just Wonderful it runs while this one well.....it is kinda bad for those games

  • Lol im using this computer right now

  • this not have a fingerprint i have

  • macboos dont get dirty quickly

  • haaha mac's pay more for less, less viruses, less hassle, less money to fix them up. I was a pc user but finally changed to the mac, the best thing I have done in my life!!!

  • @WilliamVandervleut I prefer value for money.

  • @WilliamVandervleut its like shaving with a bowling pin

  • @WilliamVandervleut true that i been hearing macs got battery problems though

  • i have the same laptop n have a lil problem can one help plss

  • too bad that mine is slowly starting to fail me, mine gets really hot and the power port is a bit messed up, and the silver paint is wearing off (from next to the touchpad) but it's ok, dell xps15 is coming my way :)

  • Hi, Im a university student and i need to buy a laptop. i was considering buying an hp netbook (which would be cheaper, but i've heard from a lot of people who have netbooks that they seem be troublesome sometimes) so should i put out the extra money and get this laptop??? what do you think? i really do need a laptop thats not gonna fail me...

  • @butterfly1506wings well I'm typing on the one in video right now, and I've clocked up untold heavy gaming ours on it. So for durability this laptop has been put through more stress than most laptops would ever taste. I would recommend getting a laptop rather than netbook as a uni student. It's full size so you get a good size screen encompass web pages, decent keyboard and greater performance headroom due to the cooling space. The size makes it comfortable to use.

  • @grannman Thank you!

  • Did you get CoD4 illegally?

  • @tigerxlr Absolutely not.

  • Could i just ask, when you ctrl+alt+esc (task manager) on your laptop, how many processes do you have running, how much memory is being used up and average (roundabout) CPU usage? I just wanna compare your Intel+Nvidia hp laptop to my hp laptop 1211ax dv5 one which has ATI+AMD. Thx lol.

  • @seriously50times Hi, you mean ctrl+alt+del. The processes ram usage etc all depends on the programs you're running so utterly incomparable as we both will be running totally different stuff. But here you go, I've got 69 process running, 7 internet explorers open with 45+ tabs open across in them, word, task manager, steam, netlimiter, idt audio all running, ram = 2.12gb, cpu about 10-20% average fluctuating form 4% to 50% with all the IE windows being the reason.

  • I'm having so much problems downloading things with this computer, I download them and after downloading it just closes and it won't fully download things!

  • @CallmeSanti that would be a software issue rather than the hardware of the laptop itself. Or it could be your internet. Make sure you're fully up to date with windows updates.

  • Hey, thanks for anwsering my Q on this vid, but iv looked all over the internet to buy the grahpics card you have and i cant find it, can you tell me were you bought yours or a link i can find this card at.

  • @MrTrevor19 As I just said... you can't do anything about it.

The laptop has to already have it inside. If it doesn't already have it you can't do anything about it...

  • Hey loved the vid, but i was wondering i got this same laptop nothing has been done to it and i bought it straight from HP, but my hard disk went out.. i was wondering if you could tell me the stock hard disk to it, and i was wondering On the Nvida Geforce 9600M gt 512mb DDR2 can you still get this card to fit in this laptop? THANKS!

  • @MrTrevor19 you cannot change the 9600m gt. You either have it or you don't and you can't do anything about it. It is part of the motherboard itself so if your laptop does not have it you cannot buy and fit one yourself.

any 2.5" HDD will be fine.

  • I'm getting this laptop in a couple days, please tell me it can handle world of warcraft without lag in raids and cities.

  • @ohthatweirdgirl If you get a version with the 9600m gt you should be fine. Dunno how taxing that game is so some graphical setting adjustments might be in order - who knows.

  • you have an m4 riffle :) 03:35

  • @tipu8080 heh, I can't see it.

  • great laptop but overheats to 130+Farenheit but i bought a cooler and its much better know this laptop has 4gb and has around 200+GB in C:Drive and 10GB in the D:Drive so its awesome and by the way for people who say vista sucks its because you dont know how to handle a machine properly windows vista was and allways be the best os of all time thank god they dont make XP anymore its bullshit compared to vista

  • @Pokemart900 @Pokemart900 I've never used a cooler and have clocked up several 100 hours of heavy gaming with no worries. I'm typing on this laptop now.

I've been using Vista since I bought this laptop and both OS have their strengths. I hated the bloated glut that was vista when it came out, now after removing all the HP bloat, disabling the nannying indexing system & defender rubbish I find it isn't so bad. Vista is probably the most critically ridiculed OS since windows ME.

  • What TYPE of RAM does it have?

Please answer I want to upgrade mine!

  • @iRobii ddr2 or 3 SO-DIMM!

  • @iRobii ddr3

  • @MartinJulenissen

Yeh I have the exact problems with overheating !

  • hey were 0our loptop is actually the same ... but i change it to windows 7 and the hp softwares are vanish and their softwares and i cant find one

  • what are your temps while playing games (especially CPU)? What Bios Version do you use? I have a similar laptop and whatever game i play i suffer from great CPU slowdowns. Also, what power plan do you use and have you undervolted the CPU?

  • @Heltvanlig no undervolting. CPU peak temps are around 60-65 degrees C under high stress. Bios F16. GPU gets to about 85 C with intense gaming. A lot depends on ambient temp.

  • OMG BULLET

  • there is what looks like a 50 cal round next to it :0

  • ive got laptop but with a blu ray

  • does it get slow if you download games or open hella tabs at a time? and which version do you have cuz mne dont look like urs

  • lol 2 yrs old can u belive it man i had mines for 2 yrs now good laptop but the 9600m gt kind of out of date but still u can play some games still awesome card

  • hp dv5t 14.5, same thing right?

  • @gkhjhjh dv5t is a base model. They will have any number of modifications/configurations within the DV5 series of laptops.

Like with a compaq C700 series... there's probably over 100 different variations on it. c762nr, c751en, etc...

So yes, pretty much but smaller screen

  • Where's that wallpaper from it looks awesome!!!

  • how much?

  • does it overheat?

  • @Girisgreencrazeiful It gets hot when gaming but I've never had it overheat and I've played countless hours of cod4 and other games on this.

  • @grannman Did you upgrade to Windows 7? i did and its spectacular than vista!!!

  • @arbit3r942 I've havn't changed my OS, things are ok and I don't feel the urge to spend heh heh.

  • @Girisgreencrazeiful Have this laptop, but it's the amd processor and it's seriously overheating. must constantly have it on a desk to keep it cool, even at that it's very hot. Have a temp gauge on the cpu and it's running at 90degrees c. I do use it as a serious development machine.

  • hi i want to play starcraft 2 but idk if my laptop will play it and 60 bux is alot for someone who isn't a rts player by trade, its this same one but with a 2.00ghz AMD turion dual core, 3gig ram and a ati radeon 3200 hd grfx card. Thanks for the help in advance :D

  • @spenceriguess Your laptop will struggle to play starcraft 2 at even low settings. The 3200 gaphics are integrated and doesn't even have 25% of the power of the 9600m gt.

  • @spenceriguess get an m11x

  • God awful laptop. Can't wait to replace mine today.

  • @HowAboutSomeTruth1 bummer for you, I'm typing on mine right now. Fantastic laptop.

  • i have one and its great

    And cool accent

  • my hp DAY VEE FIVE

  • mine is prettier <3 :] haha

  • SE CALIENTA ASTA EL CULO!

  • i love this laptop i want one so bad esp, champange

  • grann i got the same almost the same laptop except is bronze and uses ati instead of invidea...mines the HP Pavilion DV-5 1250us...can you overclock yours any..i got this lcd overdrive function and was wondering if yours has anything like that?

  • @jjavitable1 No lcd overdrive type stuff as far as I'm aware. Some people do overclock their 9600 using nvidia ntune or rivatuner and the right bios. On a laptop I'm not keen to try myself due to the already high heat and limited cooling.

  • @grannman true true..are you having overheating problems or any problems at all with yours..mines running as smooth as a babies bottom..the only thing i really dont like is having to clean the damn thing every other day..espicially when im taking it out of the house and dont want people seeing finger prints all over it..do you use any special cleaner for yours?

  • @jjavitable mine runs fine also but there isn't much headroom in the heat department when overclocking this laptop and I just don't have the need. My laptop is sitting at home most of the time so I don't think about the fingerprints. When I have to get them off I just use a cloth.

  • hay try to buy a cooling pad at best buy is's about $19.00.

  • damn, where can I get that 9600m GT???

  • hp computers suck (like all pc's) Mac are much better!

  • @nose7182 Sure Mac is fantastic if you want to pay more for less.

  • @grannman I have always said this - Mac costs more and then they tell you what you want instead of many options. You get 4 basic models of laptop per year and a small variance of processors and diversity. People wonder why they are so stable - they know the hardware (its basically locked down and basic with little expansion capable) to build the software for

  • Does anyone else have a problem with it heat wise? Mine gets burning hot, almost literally. Also the light on the side for where the power cable goes on flickers when I turn the computer off :(

  • @vastelordenumero i heard that this was a problem for some..if have the back of mine raised so it has some room underneath it and allows the bottom to breath..if you dont want to spend the money on cooling pad then try to experiment with something like that

  • ta spaei to oxima!!!

  • this is a very very good laptop.....i got for summer 2009 niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @mrboosterification Same here! I put Win 7 on it and it runs greeeeat

  • @tw1tch09 yes i want windows 7 on my hp pavilion dv5 ,,,,but i have a problem...this laptop is very low with the games why ?

  • @mrboosterification whats your graphics card?

  • @tw1tch09 ati 3450 radeon hd mobility i try to overclock it but the video performance are equals......and you whats your graphics card?

(sorry for my english i'm italianXD)

  • @mrboosterification well I have the Nvidia GeForce 9600m GT, which I believe is the same used in these two videos. I looked it up and unfortunately the ati 3450 is designed for lighter notebooks and has lower memory, speeds etc. than the 9600m, sorry :(

    btw your english is good!

  • @tw1tch09 thx! but at september i give this laptop at my brother..i buy a new a liquid cooled pc desktop :D .....i go to subscribe you......thx

  • @tw1tch09 yeahhhhhhhh

  • Haha, this is my laptop. I got for Christmas 2008. I love it! Need a new battery though.

  • yeah my battery lasts about 45 minutes now I reckon. One thing I've found with HP laptop batteries is that they go downhill pretty quick, but who cares when you get this sort of performance in a laptop for cheap.

  • nice vid man!i have the same laptop...i am very satisfied, its a very good laptop but is always dirty :D

  • does anyone know how many miga pix does the camera has

  • @theparris15 1.3 mega pixel

  • does anyone know how many mega pix does the camera has

  • @007level 1.3 mega pixel

  • hey grannman... remember me?? i commented on here about a year ago asking questions and ended up buying a similar laptop :D... how is urs going?? mine is going great... last year in november the motherboard got fried for some reason.. but luckily the warranty made everything smooth and it was replaced. mine gets pretty hot now... it never overheated but even though i don't play games it gets hot down there. u still playing cod4? haha

  • hi man. Yeap I'm on this laptop as I type. My gaming hasn't slowed down much. Heaps of cod4. Did you have the nvidia 9600m gt on your old fried motherboard? My laptop only gets hot when gaming or stressing it through some other way.

  • @grannman well yes my laptop has the 9600m gt . Last year i left it updating and then after 3 hours i came back and the computer just froze.. so i pressed the turn off button for 10 seconds but it still didn't respond... so i took out the battery and the power.. i turned it back on again and the screen was blank. i took it to harvey norman and they gave it back to me after 3 weeks and told me they replaced the motherboard.

my laptop is working perfectly...i'll post another comment.

  • @grannman my laptop however gets hot for no reason at all... i just left it all night doing nothing and it was extremly hot. but now when i am using it its not hot at all... i don't know whats wrong with it. it gets hot at times when it should be realy cool since its not in use... i leave a lot of space for ventilation. i tried vacuuming it yesterday but that didn't change anything.

  • @SIN4EVER14 what is the room temperature?

Download HWMonitor and check your laptop temperatures after the laptop has been on for a while doing regular activities like internet and so on. The 9600 gpu temperature shouldn't be more than 55 and your cpu temps shouldn't be more than 40. Under stress my 9600m gt gets up to about 85 and cpu 59 (if I remember the cpu load temp correctly)

  • @grannman wow really?? just tested it.. the 9600 is at 70 degrees and the acpi is at 67. and the intel core is 72 and 70.

This is without the battery even plugged in... its on the power cord now.. if i put the battery it will heat up even more.

  • Unless your room temperature is super high those temperatures are not normal at all. I've just finished watching a vid on youtube and my cpu cores are 39 and 40, gpu 52, acpi 49. The heat paste on the cooling unit does take a few days to cure properly if your motherboard is brand new otherwise I'd say something is definitely not right with your laptop. Sounds to me that when they replaced the motherboard the heat sink/cooling fan unit wasn't installed correctly - ie no heat paste. Not good.

  • @grannman well they replaced the motherboard for me so i can't really open up the laptop and adjust things since my warranty will be voided.... but it was very strange that the motherboard would burn. i am not a computer expert but i think motherboards are pretty damn expensive... this happened last year in october.

just 2 minutes ago i vacuumed the shit out of the laptop... i put ducttape around a straw and put it in the vacuum.. sucked out everything i could..

  • @grannman its been a few minutes now and the computer is very quiet... it was never this quiet :D ACPI: 41 and the cores are 49 and 46 and 9600 is 50.

wow its amazing how its now not warm. its like i just bought it. and my room's temperature is normal.. i guess there was just some dust making it switch on the loud fan

  • @SIN4EVER14 see how it holds up. Good idea about focusing the vacuum. After watching youtube hd 720p my 9600 pushes just past 55 and my cpu 49 and 48. It depends on what you're doing and the palm can get cosily warm but not hot as when gaming. Hope things go ok.

  • @grannman i don't even play games on it.. just some facebook and email and surfing the net.

  • nice laptop next week i will buy Sony Vaio F1190X

  • i just got this laptop aswell in bronze...get windows 7..vista sux...ive been playing Crysis on this laptop and i can play it on low graphic settings which still looks amazing on that game...all other standard war games play just fine though

  • Vista isn't that great but after getting rid of the bloat through the transferable activation method it isn't too bad.

  • @jjavitable1: I like Vista, it's nice and stable. Well for me it is. Besides that Vista uses quite a bit of RAM, it's a rather good OS.

  • im dying 4 a laptop rite now. especially this 1... geez..... :/

  • @KPJDgirlsrock I have a powerful desktop. I want portability/power though. However powerful and useful my desktop is I can't bring it on vacation or long car rides.

  • Hi friend I'm frome italy so my english isn't so good :-) well i have got the same model of pc (hp pavilion dv5 115el ) i bought it just 5 mounths ago . I think i have problem with the battery coz it works max 2 hours with saving energy funtion . I wanna ask u how much ur battery hang over ? to understand if its normal ? thanks ! :-)

  • my battery only lasts for about 1 hour now even when the screen is dimmed. It used to last longer but it's over a year old now and doesn't last as long as it used to.

  • @grannman tkx u so much for awnswer !

  • How long could the battery last, before it got older??

  • About 1hr 30min on semi dimmed screen.

  • @ehtshammusica: Hmm, 2 hours is pretty good. I've had mine for a year now and it stores around that much although my processor (T9400) uses 10W more than the P-Series and is slightly more powerful. If you want to keep the life of your battery, take it out when you're not using it because heat wears it. Also, you may want to calibrate it.

  • dude..... i got da samne laptop .... mine is HP pavilion DV5 1070ee but it got smt more than urzzz....it got bluray disc player too...!!!

  • I have just the same computer :O

  • hp computer very very good

  • croooykee mate noyce vid ya na

  • i was wondering if it would be able to play a game with this requirement for this computer CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Single Core processor or equivalent (2.8 Ghz for Vista), because when i go to system it says i have p8400 @ 2.26GHz and then 2.27GHz

  • yes your computer will easily run that game. The p8400 has two cores running at 2.26GHz each and is far advanced in speed to the old P4. Considering the FSB speed and advanced architecture of the p8400 each of its cores would be significantly faster than a 2.4GHz P4 even thought the clock speed is lower.

  • oh i see it's because i have two cores, thanks mate

  • dude if you make a review you gotta show how the game works on the max settings...

anyways ive already got a dv5 1050en and it runs cod4 on max..if anyone was wondering.. :)

  • oh I can run cod4 on max alright but I'd rather be getting 25fps dips than chunky 5-10fps dips. Everything on max = poor choice.
