This goes with the song. Not as in every clip matches in sync, but think about it, she's singing about how at first everything seemed great, but her dreams ultimately didn't turn out. Ultimately she finds that her quest is really a doomed cycle, and that the only way to resolve it takes her love from the world.

Thanks. It hit me how perfect this song would be the first time I played the game.  There's a big difference between Fantine's story and Yuna's, but the song works for both.
