It worked fine for me. I'm on PC. But the loot in the chest wasn't the same. I had a Dwarven Helmet, some gems and some more worthless junk to fill my house with. My house is filled up, I can't sell it all. NPC's are broke ass motherfuckers.

No chest for me either. I guess I will need to go loot elsewhere for a flawless ruby, 33 gold, lesser soul gem, refined moonstone, spell tome, and some circlet.

Thanks for the walkthrough. Confirmed that I wasn't mad. I found that exact location and spent ages looking for a tiny enchanted ring or something on the ground. Turns out it's just bugged, and the chest wasn't there for me.

I made my way there according to the map. When I got there - no chest. So I thought I did something wrong. I followed the trail again - same place. I finally looked it up and it turns out that I was going to the right spot, the chest just isn't fucking appearing. God I love Skyrim; it's a masterpiece, but they need to fix these God damn bugs.

@scraps992 Alrighty man, are we referring to the chest with the map in it. or the loot chest? Because in order for the loot chest to appear you have to have acquired the map first. If you have the map and the loot chest isn't appearing, I'm sorry I can't help :\

@RaptorJohnny Nah, I found the map first and it still didn't turn up. I'm just saying I thought I was doing it wrong because I couldn't find the treasure chest. This video confirmed that I was doing it right, the chest just isn't appearing. So, you did help me. You helped me see that it is just a bug and not stupidity on my part.

I found finding the treasure pretty easy. Also, do you know if you can "clear" Fort Neugrad? I ran through it and yet it does not say it is cleared on my map, even went through the prison. I find it irritating when something isn't "cleared'.
