Max, you can email me (Art's daughter) at crobles0066@yahoo.com I'll get you in touch with my brother who deals with all of our family matters. I'm sure he'd love to hear what you have to say. As would all my brothers.
Were going to be having a family reunion the end of July and although my father is no longer with us, my uncles Ruben and David are. I'm sure they also would love to hear from youj.
My name is Max Uballez, I produced and arranged this record. I recorded David (Guitar) and Ruben (Bass) with a drummer they were a trio. Then I brought in the Ralph Ventura's Mariachi did this arrangement I also added hand claps and a conga. If any one could put me in touch with the Robles family I would appreciate it. xelaco@aol.com. Art Robles was a great keyboard player also. soon.

David and Ruben were part of my fathers band "The Majestics" They sang a song on the flip side called "Girl Of My Dreams".The Rampart record was a demo record. Then Warner Bros. released it with the mariachi band in it.
Dave and Ruben are my uncles and Art was my father. He passed away 11 years ago, But i know he would have gotten a kick to see his song(which he wrote about my mom)on the internet.I know my mom loved it.Thank you to whoever put it on Youtube
Recorded on Linda Records this Doo Wap flavoured Mexisoul track was a massive Northern Soul hit in the late 70`s & played at all the main venue`s like Wigan Casino & the Highland Room,.ktf.
Sorry djdeitch, This song was out in the middle 60's, and was origanilly on the Warner Bro. label. Also the song came out and was played in clubs by the artists in L.A.
Another really great tune you have put up soulfan, as I'm really loving all of this nostalgia that you are giving us my friend. Keep up the good work mate!
