  • never heard this before its nice. I got the name Majestics come into my mind for some reason so i just typed in Google and was amazed to find it was a real band and a song :) i can't explain it

  • My name is Max Uballez, I produced and arranged this record.  I recorded David (Guitar) and Ruben (Bass) with a drummer they were a trio. Then I brought in the Ralph Ventura's Mariachi did this arrangement I also added hand claps and a conga. If any one could put me in touch with the Robles family I would appreciate it. xelaco@aol.com.   • David and Ruben were part of my fathers band "The Majestics" They sang a song on the flip side called "Girl Of My Dreams".The Rampart record was a demo record. Then Warner Bros. released it with the mariachi band in it.

  • Dave and Ruben are my uncles and Art was my father. He passed away 11 years ago, But i know he would have gotten a kick to see his song(which he wrote about my mom)on the internet.I know my mom loved it.Thank you to whoever put it on Youtube

  • Recorded on Linda Records this Doo Wap flavoured Mexisoul track was a massive Northern Soul hit in the late 70`s & played at all the main venue`s like Wigan Casino & the Highland Room,.ktf.

  • Sorry djdeitch, This song was out in the middle 60's, and was origanilly on the Warner Bro. label. Also the song came out and was played in clubs by the artists in L.A.

  • Yes i kow it was released in the mid-sixties..but i was talking about when it hit the bigtime in the Northern scene in the UK.

    And it was released on Linda records..the Warner Brothers release was by David & Reubin,.ktf.
