This is power metal/ melodeath metal Very good band European death metal were as if want shouting loudest then look at napalmdeath which from the UK and then Exodus from USA.

So what the voice look at other female front bands like Nightwish, Delain, Lacuna coil, Within Temptation, Sirenia, Epica and others they add power to music and soft vocals to metal. Symphonic look at Serenrity, Symfonia

Actually both the drum and bass players are Danish (aswell am I) the 3 singers and the guitarist is however Swedish... :) Awesome band!

There's a difference between mainstream and having catchy/formula driven songs. I'd say this is the latter. Albeit mainstream means catchy with a formula, there are still many bands not officially deemed mainstream that do this as well, e.g., Nightwish. Not all mainstream is bad, but when stuff sounds forced and the lyrics go straight to sex and politics, you know things have gone downhill. Plus, I think this band has too many power metal influences to go down that path.

this band is ok for a quick listen. I think "hunger" is the only standout track, and even then not for very long.

this band may need about 2-3 albums before they find that sweet spot, assuming they aren't main stream by then.

idk I want to like it, but it sounds overly pretentious, female vocals, male vocal, and screaming? in all the songs? less is defiantly more, I'd say keep the female vocals, the rest isn't helping any.

I'm not saying they are mainstream, however this sound seems destined to be mainstream. Everyone knows those type of growls are very popular these days, as bad as they are. its faster paced music that doesn't offer much as far as complexity is concerned. thats a pretty damn good recipe for mainstream.

though I think they manage to stay low for a while, and actually have to develop a more impressive sound then they could become something good and unique.

no screaming is like that break metal crap. after relistening to it, this is more growl-ish. its still understandable to the casual listener so its not completely growl however its distorted enough that its defiantly part growl. besides "screaming" is like almost identical to growling the biggest difference being its far more common/ used up.

the sad part being "screaming" is still pretty new yet mainstream wise. no the 3rd vocalist is apply more growl then scream.

@bwaveforce The difference is the technique, and how you use your diaphragm and vocal cord. theres a difference on the sound as well, growls tend to be deep, ''less understandable,, etc, while scream sounds a bit more light, rasp etc.

This is a scream, you can hear it, but a incredibly low pitched scream it is.

look up the guide videos as well, you'll see the differences in the technique.
