  • can anyone else hear a little Scott Joplin in this piece? around 2:30

  • @pianosa1993 Joplin did not exist at Schumann's time. I think this piece is rather Jazzy, in my opinion.

  • @Montyleeny14 I know they weren't around at the same time, I guess I should have phrased that differently, like it just sounds Scott Joplin-esque at that moment. But yeah, really cool piece of Schumann's!! Love it!

  • This is the hardest movement in this piece, very similar to Beethovens late sonatas. Of course this piece was written in memory of Beethoven.
