Valve fails with npc ai + props so they made npcs that are coded to walk a certain way,if there are any props in the way that they can't get around,they walk through it.

Sorry about the comment below me, text limit. Anyway, he went through as if he nocliped. Also, when alyx points thumbs at the door (Somtimes she doesnt move at all, and one time, she teleported!), she just stays on that pose, no animation until kliner *noclips* through the boxes. Also, on that little elevator to get to his room, you can jam it for a little bit with the boxes. You can also climb up there with boxes too. :D

You can do that with kliner (SPELLING D:) on hl2, not ep 1 or 2. On his lab, under the mini teleporter is a box. Put it on top of lammar's house xD. Then crouch jump into the vent were lammar is going to go later on. Get the computer, and throw it down. Then get the box and put it on the eye scanner. When the suit room opens, there is another box. Do the same. Finnaly, put the computer on top of the stack. When kliner tries to eye scan, h keeps walking around it, then he just goes into the box.

They intentionally make teleport close to you so the triggers correspond and so you don't freeze the game. If you don't believe me go on gmod single player in a hl2 map then noclip and kill a trigger character.

It seems its a trigger, cause by the looks of the hunter, seemed it had not been triggered by the train smashing through the wood, i guess that is the trigger to the next scene.

Notice how we do not see the hunter move at all.

No, it's a debug method, if the NPC is stuck and needs to get to a certain area, they either walk through something or teleport. But I guess that's what Alyx is doing.
