I always remember his phrase "I don't like it, reverse it." And I think he liked to make reference to "vanilla wafers and lemonade", at least way back when I used to watch him in the 70's. RIP.

Even before he was on TV, I loved listening to Wayne on KIRO "Sportsline" on the radio.
I was a kid and my Dad and I truly enjoyed KIRO Sportline together.
Met Wayne during a remote broadcast at the Everett Mall Sears with Sounders Jimmy Gabriel and Jimmy McCalister.
RIP Wayne. Hope you're enjoying the "Lemonade and Vanilla Wafers..."
