  • my 94 has got 260k and starts better than that at minus 40

  • @bigbangproductions You deserve a prize!

  • 93 suburban 1500 275k RUNNING strong! LIKE A ROCK

  • '96 chevy 3500 running strong at 236K miles. :D

  • the colder the cold DURALAST

  • Wow, sounds like the pistons are frozen in the heads. Southern California is never like that.

  • @SageZen

Yeah, you just have to worry about somebody hopping in the truck and taking off when you go to grab the camera.

  • I personally think suburbans are the damn mother of all suv's . they're so freakin' beatiful,why the hell did can't I drive allready?! (i'm 14) :/

  • my 98 5.7 fires right up at -15f. the old tbi engines are great engines though.

  • American quality... No wait... Not quality...

  • @TheDJGabizz Well for being almost 20 years old and 200k miles I think it is doing pretty well.

  • @chazfensk I have a '91 Sub with 305K, still runs great! I would say that is quality =)

  • @TheDJGabizz Thats why you go for GMC

  • @possiblefurry huh? They are the exact same thing!

  • @chazfensk General Motors Canada. Ever wonder why they are a bit more expensive? they use more expensive parts. "ITs General Motors Company" no its not. its canada. if its company, why is there GM? GM own chevy GMC and many more. chevy is the American and GMC is the Canadian

  • @possiblefurry Actually GMC stands for General Motors Cooperation. Look it up if you don't believe me.

  • @possiblefurry moron. its general motors corperation you dingleberry

  • @possiblefurry

lol! are you fucking serious?! lmao

  • @erikhoeffner LOL, That dude is clueless!

  • suburbans kick ass!

  • @dan400ci rock on!

  • thumbs up, minnesota crankin is gooooood!

  • i belive some new glow plugs is recomended

  • check out some of the videos on here about oil viscosity and cold weather, you will never ever again go without plugging in your engine.

  • I'll do that, thanks.

  • That's cooooooooooooold! Starts way better than my truck.

  • I also have no problem with starting my Burban, even at -30C, in Russia winters are usually cold :)

  • Yea Minnesota!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How long has it needed a tuneup? You're just slowly killing the starter the longer you keep doing this (without getting a tune up). On my 99 Tahoe It was like $800 to give it a full tuneup (That included all new filters, oils changed in Engine, trans, front & rear diff, new brakes (front & rear)

  • my diesel started better for me today and it was also 15 below

  • I live in the State of Wyoming and wow its -25F Below zero.. But it feels worse because its windy lol.. I have a 99 Chevy Tahoe and it also makes that same sound, but it doesn't take that long to turn on tho.. Nice Video.

  • I need a serious tune up. It was about 28 above zero the other day and it was slow to start.

  • Yea thats probably the problem, the tune up will help a lot!

  • No, it isn't awesome.

  • My cock itches.

  • yes, it was awesome!

  • Looks cold.... X_X im from Texas so there is no way I could survive up there....

  • nice mn morning...

  • finally got that damn burb started... right on... Ive got a case 1845B skidsteer with the gas motor... fresh rebuild and that thing wont start for shit when it gets below zero just the way some motors are I guess

  • Ther is no reason a gas engine shouldn;t star at thjat temperature unless it's worn out, or there is something wrong with fuel delivery. Also that starter is awful slow, or is it a weak battery?

  • The battery is weak, replaced that. But yes, needs to have the fuel system checked out. It has 188k so I guess it is due for a tune up.

  • that sound sad.

  • i tried starting my 2003 Chevrolet Duramax diesel 2500 H.D. while it was plugged in over night. it was 1 degree out and i let the glow plugs heat up and it took me 8 tries. a little over a minute to get her started. but she runs like a beast..i gotta get a vid next time but it has power check out my videos.

  • throttle body fuel injection people.

  • i have 2 throttle body injection vehicles and i love them. they are so simple, dependable, and easy to maintain

    i have a

    1991 cavalier 2.2 TBI 144K on it

1989 camaro 350 30K on engine, originally a 305 but hey, i wanted more power. 305 still ran fine just no balls. typical 305.

  • just a question, but do the 99 suburbans have throttle body injection??? or did that end in 95?

  • They're vortec. 96-99 (99 classic)

    CPI

    TBI ended in 95. Burbs/blazer/tahoe/truck

  • CORRECTED:

I could NOT see why so many people liked my videos UNTIL I saw this.

Let me put it this way your video did not captivate me, but I did watch the whole thing, unlike people who watch my videos.

  • I put this video up as a spoof for one of my ham friends. I never thought anyone would watch it other than him. Now a few months later there is over 5600 views. I do watch your whole videos though. I have been a ham since 1992 and the things you say about hams in your videos my ham friends and I have been joking about for years. You are right on the money! Its funny how it really strikes a nerve with some hams.

  • I could see why so many people liked my videos UNTIL I saw this

  • Not sure what you mean, is that good or bad?

  • i think its throttle body injection maybe idk poor thing is frozen.

  • nice truck them used to be gangsta on the streets back in the day.from 1992-2005 about 6 or 7 street hustla's used to step out wear'in timbs and big coats.

  • my truck is a bitch to start when its cold... im lucky it isn't diesel...

    also my truck is carbureted

  • The year that this vehicle is im sure it has fuel injection, even at this temp this thing should start right up. Definately does not start good. Our Fords started right up at -32

  • my '93 burb started at 32 but whatever it just depends on what kind of car you have fords suck and chevs rock dodge i dont really care

  • -15 C° or F° ?

  • -15 F. We never got some of those really cold Minnesota mornings that are in the -35 f range. Maybe next winter. I will for sure post any videos I make of future cold starts.

  • takes a while to get the oil up there man great vid

  • awsoem vidoe coudl tkae antoher vidoe of satrting ifn fomr the insdie and of course you drving it
