@chazfensk General Motors Canada. Ever wonder why they are a bit more expensive? they use more expensive parts. "ITs General Motors Company" no its not. its canada. if its company, why is there GM? GM own chevy GMC and many more. chevy is the American and GMC is the Canadian
How long has it needed a tuneup? You're just slowly killing the starter the longer you keep doing this (without getting a tune up). On my 99 Tahoe It was like $800 to give it a full tuneup (That included all new filters, oils changed in Engine, trans, front & rear diff, new brakes (front & rear)
i just took my stock burban today for the first time. there was solid ice. underneath 3-4 foot deep of water and mud. i drove over it slowly in 2wd breaking it up then got into 3-4 feet deep of mud really watery with 1-2 foot big ice chunks. i cant believe how good it went. only bad thing was i got my brake line broken i think due to a huge ice chunk, but it was really rusty and was expected to break soon. man, i love it. my first time, im excited.
I live in the State of Wyoming and wow its -25F Below zero.. But it feels worse because its windy lol.. I have a 99 Chevy Tahoe and it also makes that same sound, but it doesn't take that long to turn on tho.. Nice Video.
finally got that damn burb started... right on... Ive got a case 1845B skidsteer with the gas motor... fresh rebuild and that thing wont start for shit when it gets below zero just the way some motors are I guess
Ther is no reason a gas engine shouldn;t star at thjat temperature unless it's worn out, or there is something wrong with fuel delivery. Also that starter is awful slow, or is it a weak battery?
i tried starting my 2003 Chevrolet Duramax diesel 2500 H.D. while it was plugged in over night. it was 1 degree out and i let the glow plugs heat up and it took me 8 tries. a little over a minute to get her started. but she runs like a beast..i gotta get a vid next time but it has power check out my videos.
I put this video up as a spoof for one of my ham friends. I never thought anyone would watch it other than him. Now a few months later there is over 5600 views. I do watch your whole videos though. I have been a ham since 1992 and the things you say about hams in your videos my ham friends and I have been joking about for years. You are right on the money! Its funny how it really strikes a nerve with some hams.
nice truck them used to be gangsta on the streets back in the day.from 1992-2005 about 6 or 7 street hustla's used to step out wear'in timbs and big coats.
The year that this vehicle is im sure it has fuel injection, even at this temp this thing should start right up. Definately does not start good. Our Fords started right up at -32
-15 F. We never got some of those really cold Minnesota mornings that are in the -35 f range. Maybe next winter. I will for sure post any videos I make of future cold starts.
my 94 has got 260k and starts better than that at minus 40

brasmussen81 3 years ago
The battery is weak, replaced that. But yes, needs to have the fuel system checked out. It has 188k so I guess it is due for a tune up.

throttle body fuel injection people.
91CTD 3 years ago
i have 2 throttle body injection vehicles and i love them. they are so simple, dependable, and easy to maintain
i have a
1991 cavalier 2.2 TBI 144K on it
1989 camaro 350 30K on engine, originally a 305 but hey, i wanted more power. 305 still ran fine just no balls. typical 305.
ad356 2 years ago
just a question, but do the 99 suburbans have throttle body injection??? or did that end in 95?
fr34kaccident 2 years ago
They're vortec. 96-99 (99 classic)
CPI
TBI ended in 95. Burbs/blazer/tahoe/truck

Your video is short, that is plus. If you are going to do a dumb video, short can work out OK.

Let me put it this way your video did not captivate me, but I did watch the whole thing, unlike people who watch my videos.
