  • It makes sense for Ms. Fitzgerald to be on the cutting age of merging Rock and Jazz... It's said that Rock is nothing more than Gospel played in cut time... This time would be the Hard Bop and Acid Jazz era... she was experimenting and playing with her craft. She's BOSS! Love it!

  • @existamixa Cream played their song first, of course. Wikipedia answers "The song was originally released on the album Disraeli Gears in November 1967" and that Ella's version is from 1968.

  • Had the honor and luck to see her in concert in 1969 or 1970, I was a little boy and so impressed. After concert I got an autograph from her in her dressing room, still have it, it's framed on the wall in my living room. Yay! :-)

  • Ella est la!

  • WOW

Just performance, based on talent. No engineering...no software.

  • The best version of this Cream classic.

"Sunshine Of Your Love" (Pete Brown, Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton)

  • @mrjohn1964 ginger baker was the drummer with cream

  • @llachow But the composition "Sunshine of your love" hadn´t the contribution of Ginger Baker. Pete Brown was an occasional lyricist as in "Politician" and others.

    PEACE!

    LOVE!
