@OhJosie92 One would think, yea! It has to do w/the depth of pigment of each ink color and its capacity for heat/energy absorption from the laser – certain pigments take longer to absorb. Dark colors like black, dark blue & green, & purple absorb energy at a much faster rate, while lighter colors w/less pigment (red & orange, pink, light blue, yellow, white) absorb heat energy much more slowly. That's why these lighter colors are the most difficult to remove, requiring more treatments.
Consider yourself very fortunate if they're able to remove them in 5-8 sessions. My cousin had a similar one (tribal armband like yours) removed that required 12 sessions.
good for you for getting them removed if you really dont like them anymore. thank god for technology LOL im guessing its gonna be pretty expensive after all the treatments but definitely worth it.

I was drunk and stupid at 19 and got a butterfly on my hip. i dont even have a special affection for butterflies. So at 25 i got it covered it up with an iguana since i adore reptiles. I have one on my arm tho that i know i will hate in about 15 or 20 years =/

@ladysmithrose I really like to support canadian companies! I tried the origin food right when i got him because i heard it was the best. Its true that it one a lot of awards for the high protein diet it consists of, however they have since changed the formula!!!! Duke little tummy did not agree with the puppy food from them so I moved him over to the Large breed puppy food from Royal canine. I feed Ruby RC as well and both are very health and its a great food.
I wish I would have put more thought into my pointless tattoo (it's mostly GREEN of course!) What you said is sooo true...people change & I'm not the same person I was when I was 19. I'm 33 now & I wish I would have never marked up my ankle. It sucks wearing shorts or dresses or capris & nothing covers it up!
I got a tattoo a few years back that I'm currently in the process of getting removed.. It's such a long, expensive, and painful process.. But I completely understand where you are coming from. i wish i wouldnt have gotten my tattoo.. I got it just to rebel my parents were so strict and my 18th birthday i went and got it just to prove that I was an adult. I obviously wasnt one.
Teresa next time you need to put two clips together you can use the youtube editor, its super easy to use you just upload both clips then go there and put them together. i use it a lot. hope that helps!!

I'm glad you found safe, clean place with a good feel about it. I have 6 tats and still love each one, however if I ever changed my mind about them I wouldn't hesitate to remove them. You are such a positive role model to women to be your own person!

I went in and she did my entire face and it was pretty painful! It was bearable, but much worse than getting a band snapped against my face. Especially down the neck and the lip ughhhhhh!
Hang in there-I didn't see much change first, but the hair is MUCH less noticeable now. I imagine the pigment will do the same. It'll be worth it!
I went for over a year to have 2 tats removed (just cuz of the subject of the tats - not that I don't love tats cuz I have several)...they used ice on my skin & the laser made me feel like my skin was melting. I hope you get the results you want cuz mine only came off about halfway so I ended up covering them up with new tats, but I love tats so that was a perfect option for me, but not for you. Good luck!!!
I'm getting tattooed in a week and it's for my dad so I know I would never ever want to remove it. I know it's not to everyone's taste and I get that but the fact some people have called tattoos and people who get them classless in the comments is pathetic. Its an art form regardless of what you get, it's not as if you've rolled around in your own faeces.
@TheHumanWreckage Its a personal choice. I have one I got on my back after my brother passed away. I will not ever remove it, however, I now feel a lot different about it then i used to. Then I felt like i was trying to prove my love in a way and I now feel like I don't need to mark my body to know the love I will always have for him. If I could go back I would not have got it but I don't regret it like I do the others.
Sounds like you found a good place for your tattoo removal. It's important to feel comfortable because it makes the experience really different. I have to do laser on my face for broken capillaries and I've been to 3 different places because the first two just didn't feel right. Getting laser near the nostrils is a killer!!! lol
Hey Teresa! I have a friend who actually just got done with her 5th session. She had a little tattoo on the back of her neck... and she did get blisters and scabbing after the 3rd session. Poor thing!! Not to scare you honey, I hope that doesn't happen to you!! :) My friend started the sessions about 3months ago, and now her tattoo (although still visible) is really faded, like a very light blue-ish color. Good luck on this and on moving out/in and stuff!!! :P
I guess getting a tattoo is something you have to think about carefully and I heard its more painful getting it off than getting a tattoo done; but you're brave and I admire you :)

I got a tattoo a few years back that I'm currently in the process of getting removed.. It's such a long, expensive, and painful process.. But I completely understand where you are coming from. People do change and you shouldn't have to justify your reasons.. Good luck with your sessions! Just know that some girl in TX is in the same boat as you! <3

i wish i wouldnt have gotten my tattoo.. I got it just to rebel my parents were so strict and my 18th birthday i went and got it just to prove that I was an adult. I obviously wasnt one.

Teresa next time you need to put two clips together you can use the youtube editor, its super easy to use you just upload both clips then go there and put them together. i use it a lot. hope that helps!!

I totally agree with you T!! i am getting my tramp stamp removed (just completed my second session) and i feel like it's not a part of me anymore... Its expensive, but worth it! Good luck! Cant wait to see the pics!

i got my tattoo last year on the back of my neck, i love it. it represents my grandfather who died in 2004 because of the meaning is why i did it.

im 20 years old, and literally everyone i know is getting a tattoo. it's crazy! i wonder how many of them will end up getting it removed because for the most part, the ones they are getting have no meaning behind them.

I'm glad you found safe, clean place with a good feel about it. I have 6 tats and still love each one, however if I ever changed my mind about them I wouldn't hesitate to remove them. You are such a positive role model to women to be your own person!

@juicytuesday Yep, I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which causes a lot of hair on the face :(
I went in and she did my entire face and it was pretty painful! It was bearable, but much worse than getting a band snapped against my face. Especially down the neck and the lip ughhhhhh!
Hang in there-I didn't see much change first, but the hair is MUCH less noticeable now. I imagine the pigment will do the same. It'll be worth it!

I went for over a year to have 2 tats removed (just cuz of the subject of the tats - not that I don't love tats cuz I have several)...they used ice on my skin & the laser made me feel like my skin was melting. I hope you get the results you want cuz mine only came off about halfway so I ended up covering them up with new tats, but I love tats so that was a perfect option for me, but not for you. Good luck!!!

I'm getting tattooed in a week and it's for my dad so I know I would never ever want to remove it. I know it's not to everyone's taste and I get that but the fact some people have called tattoos and people who get them classless in the comments is pathetic. Its an art form regardless of what you get, it's not as if you've rolled around in your own faeces.

@TheHumanWreckage Its a personal choice. I have one I got on my back after my brother passed away. I will not ever remove it, however, I now feel a lot different about it then i used to. Then I felt like i was trying to prove my love in a way and I now feel like I don't need to mark my body to know the love I will always have for him. If I could go back I would not have got it but I don't regret it like I do the others.

Sounds like you found a good place for your tattoo removal. It's important to feel comfortable because it makes the experience really different. I have to do laser on my face for broken capillaries and I've been to 3 different places because the first two just didn't feel right. Getting laser near the nostrils is a killer!!! lol

Hey Teresa! I have a friend who actually just got done with her 5th session. She had a little tattoo on the back of her neck... and she did get blisters and scabbing after the 3rd session. Poor thing!! Not to scare you honey, I hope that doesn't happen to you!! :) My friend started the sessions about 3months ago, and now her tattoo (although still visible) is really faded, like a very light blue-ish color. Good luck on this and on moving out/in and stuff!!! :P
