Thanks bml15014! I really appreciate that! I really try my hardest to make quality videos that get to the point and have unique views you may not see every day.
Thanks bradconway! I appreciate it and glad you like the video! I always try to get unique camera angles. Yeah the grain set up helps a lot, allows us to keep the combine always moving for the most part. We can handle about 20 semi loads a day which is 20,000 bushel before our wet bin is full. Then overnight the dryer catches up and sometime by late morning we are able to get going at it again.
Great video mate!! Excellent camera angles!! Good to see something different. Always awesome to see farming from the other side of the world. A very impressive grain handling facility you have there.
We actually got this same version cart in a new one that's got a few upgrades this year. So we got a newer one of basically this exact same cart now. Big thing was tracks were getting worn out from not being shimmed right by the factory and dealer and was less or similar money to upgrade to newer cart then getting new tracks.
Thanks Jgrumbys! Glad you like the video! My dad paid about 82,000 for it in 2006 and it's 2005 grain cart. The big thing is we went from two 500 bushel carts down to one cart now that is this one which is 1,000 bushels. So it's a lot of money but it actually pays off because it unloads in 2 and half minutes and eliminated another tractor, cart and need for another operator which is a big deal. Our old carts that were 500 bushel took like 4 minutes to unload 500 bushel.
Thanks cld0525 for the comment! Yeah it's a big combine... To me I not really concerned what brand equipment, big thing whether it works or not. I be honest I just name these videos with the equipment names to get views. haha To me the main thing of this video is show some of how we harvest corn and unique views of it being done. I didn't start getting much views until I figured out I had to put John Deere first in title, make detailed description and add bunch of tags.
Thanks Archivesman1!, Glad you like the video! This 9770 does about 2,500 acres a year. We run about on average year lately give or take a few hundred acres on each these numbers 1,200 acres of corn, 800 acres of beans and 400 or so acres of wheat.... I totally agree with you on that, I want to hear the machinery as well. The sounds are just about as interesting as the sights and together I think it best shows what actually is happening. I like to get unique shots that get up close to the action
Love seeing the machinery operate. Thanks for making it like that with real sound and action and no distracting music! How many acres will that one 9770 handle?
Thanks Terrellfarms for the really nice comment! I much appreciate it! A lot of my idea was is to show scenes that most people would never get to see of harvesting corn/farming. Like the inside view of the grain cart because I can't see in the grain cart and too when cart is unloading the way it goes down is something I hadn't even gotten to see. I really want to get a bunch more up, I just haven't had the time to properly go through all my footage. I have more different types of scenes yet.
Thanks corry5fish! I really appreciate that! I agree with you, to me most the times the sounds are just as important in a video like this so why cover them up with music. I wanted to give more a sence of what's going on with having the sound to go with the sights. Also I want the video to be about the harvest process, you put music in then people get into debates about the music when the video is not about the music.
Thanks FSFLTD82! I appreciate it! Of all my videos this one has without a doubt the most work into it of capturing all these scenes on top of the fast paced work it already is running grain cart.So I'm glad you like it & left a really nice comment! I decided to make one video covering a lot of things in this one to get something up. I don't have time right now to individually post the amount of videos I would like out of the countless hours of corn & soybean harvest videos I have from last fall.
